Recently refurnished and redecorated, Highland Huckleberry Lodge exudes a contemporary mountain aesthetic with all the amenities you desire.



You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. Maximum occupancy at all times is 15 guests and 4 vehicles unless otherwise approved. Please come and have a good time, but be aware that behavior that is disrespectful or disruptive will result in forfeiting the remainder of your stay. No smoking or pets are allowed on the property. Absolutely no fireworks. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM until 8:00 AM and are strictly enforced.



*Disclaimer: The Elk Highlands lift operates at the sole discretion of Whitefish Mountain Resort. Snow conditions affect the opening and closing of this lift. To determine if the ski lift or certain runs are open, please contact Whitefish Mountain Resort directly. Due to times of openings and closings, this property may not be ski-in/ski-out.

Big Sky Experience

Excellent property for our couples golf trip; well equipped kitchen, large grill, and hot tub. Great views off the deck of the Big Mountain ski hill and just a short trip to Whitefish or Kalispell. Excellent communication with management company. Very comfortable for a large group. Deserves its five-star rating. Cheers!

Cousins Reunion

We selected Whitefish for our 2nd Annual Geezer Cousins Reunion. The Huckelberry Lodge fit our group and needs very well. Lovely setting, nice accommodations, quiet etc. Already discussing having a repeat performance next summer!

Wondeful House

The house is very big, the view of the mountians is spectacular, the bedrooms are big, the hot tub was very relaxing, and it was a short 15 minute drive into downtown Whitefish. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Great ski accomodations for a big group

The place was plenty big enough for the group and stacked with games and everything else you could need. It's a short walk to ski out and a little further to ski in without the one chairlift running. The hot tub could be bigger for a place that accommodates so many people. The rooms are very spacious, overall great stay.

Great house in great location

House was beautiful and situated in a very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. House had plenty of room for the four of us and was like new. Had plenty of amenities and truly enjoyed having breakfast and evening drinks on the back deck with views of the mountain and ski resort. Would highly recommend this property for anyone staying in the area looking for a place close to the parks, ski resort and town.

Great house!

We had a great stay at the Huckleberry Lodge. Accommodated our group of 10 easily and comfortably. The house is about a 10-15 minute drive down to town - super easy. Beautiful location and fully stocked!

We arrived during wild fire season and high temps

Congrats on bedroom air filters, but the swamp coolers provided inadequate cooling and the dust filters need replacing in the swamp coolers. Temps inside averaged 90F and were uncomfortable throughout our stay. Tnx for copious fans, but perhaps a whole-house fan —absence forest fires—could help cool the house at night to get some thermal inertia if air conditioning system is out of the question. BIG SAFETY PROBLEM: On opening the oven door, I was enveloped in high temperature stream that slightly burned my face. Glasses protected my eyes. Try baking with the convection oven 425F with a heavy pan of baked sweet potatoes. Literally I was enveloped in a cloud of high temp steam as I cracked open the oven. Not sure what the problem is. Oven had been off for 10 minutes after a 45 minute cooking cycle. This problem is DANGEROUS and puts your clients, the owner and your agency at risk.

Great location and beautiful home!

Our group of 9 friends really enjoyed our stay at Huckleberry Lodge! The home was spacious and decorated beautifully. We really enjoyed the outdoor space as well. The location was fantastic, close to Whitefish and GNP. We were able to go to the nearby ski resort to take the ski lift up to the top for some amazing views. We also saw so many deer just walking the neighborhood which was really neat. When we first got to the home, we had a minor issue but management was very quick to respond and help resolve the issue. My only complaint is that the home says it has air conditioning. The air conditioning is portable ac units in each room. It was pretty warm when we first got to the property, but as the week went on and the weather cooled, it was fine. But overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay again!

Fantastic Whitefish ski in/out home

This house was fantastic for our group of 4 couples. The house is spacious with great amenities. The highlights for our group included the location to the mountain, hot tub, & views. The property manager was responsive and easy to work with. This is definitely a property and destination we will consider for future ski vacations.

Amazing vacation

We had a group of 8 friends staying here for a long weekend. The house is amazing! So much room, gorgeous views and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. Other travelers left some basic food in the pantry, which was great as we were able to grill a full steak dinner one night (we also left over the boxed food we didn't finish). The house was so comfortable, we loved being able to relax.

I was a bit annoyed that they gave us the wrong code to get in initially and that there was no AC and that wasn’t outlined more clearly. Also, the master bedroom fuses kept breaking. They were minor annoyances but things that could make the experience perfect for the next guess if addressed

Annual Friends Ski Trip

I came with a group of friends for our annual ski vacation. The house was beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Access to ski was a quick, 1-minute walk from the end of the driveway. In order to get to town you do need a car. I would recommend staying at this property.

Nice house, not easy ski in ski out

The house was very nice. It is not a completely accurate description that it is skids coat. You can ski into the house but it is a bit of a walk to ski out. If you have any intention of coming back to the house during the day it is too far to do so. Also, the lottery machines did not work properly. We called the management company once they told us we were not using it properly. I continue to malfunction so a real technician Was dispatched. He told us that it was improperly installed Edward not work properly the way it was. Aside from those two issues we had a nice time.
