The location is convenient and the facilities in the flat are also good.
However there were quite a few disappointing aspects: the lift was broken; the entrance hallway and the stairs up smelt very strongly of rubbish because there is a room on that landing that was literally full of black rubbish bags from all of the flats; the cleaning was sufficient in the main areas but not if you looked properly; the freezer had leftover ice lollies in there and some had leaked a sticky mess; the fridge wasn’t clean; the cupboard above the microwave, someone had left their drug paraphernalia (smoking not needles) and there was a strong smell of weed; both bedrooms there was a v loud extractor fan noise and vibration from a restaurant below; the settee has a slight smell of body odour and needs a thorough clean if you sit on it for a while or have to sleep there due to the noise in the bedrooms; the bathroom mat didn’t look as tho it had been washed. There was a commotion one evening at the pub opposite that involved shouting, swearing, threats of violence, people being pulled apart to stop a fight, and the police were called. Also the road outside seems to be a boy racer track until the early hours.
So all in all, a few things that could be improved inside. It’s a nice flat in terms of the decoration. But it just needed a little more attention to detail on the cleaning.
