"Just returned from a 3 night stay at Oaklands. The hotel is under new ownership (Ingrid and Ben) and the service has not suffered. In fact I would say it’s improved, Both Ingrid and Ben make you very welcome and nothing was too much. Look forward to retuning in the future. David & Karen"

"We needed somewhere to stay with our dog and this limits your choices. However, the Golden Fleece was very clean, good supply of refreshments in the room, shower was powerful and hot water plentiful. They even supplied a fan to cool the room, although it wasn't great, it shows a level of care and consideration for guests and was appreciated. The owners we met were friendly and I would definitely consider staying again if we visit the area again. Only negative is they need to remove the cobwebs...

"We were made very welcome by John and hadall we needed for a very comfortable stay with our two dogs. There were lots of little touches that added to our good experience-including welcome bags for each dog and more than adequate continental breakfast. We would highly recommend a d stay again.
