Family and pet friendly cabin in a beautiful resort setting on the shore of Lake Almanor has two bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed, chest of drawers and small closet. Beautiful, newly remodeled bathroom has walk-in shower, vanity, thermostat-controlled heater and privacy toilet. Kitchen is also newly remodeled with new appliances, cupboards, and counter tops. Bedding and towels are provided. Kitchen is furnished with dining table & chairs, refrigerator, 4-burner gas stove with oven, microwave, dish washer, coffee maker, Keurig K-cup coffee maker, toaster, hot pot, blender, dishes, pots & pans, silverware and utensils. Front deck has lake view, gas grill, table & chairs and gate to keep in toddlers and pets as well as new deck flooring and comfortable outdoor furniture. Living room is furnished with a couch which can be used as a bed for a child, two easy chairs, end tables, air conditioner, an electric wall heater, and a flat-screen TV. There is also a flat-screen TV in each of the bedrooms. Free internet is furnished for guests.
The cabin comes with a free boat slip for your boat or water craft between April 15th and October 31st. The resort has it's own boat launch ramp for guests and owners. The resort includes a large lawn area on the lake shore with picnic tables and a doggy clean-up station. The resort is located right across the road from the Red Onion Grill & Bar and the Peninsula Market, a grocery store with fresh meat counter, award winning deli and coffee shop. Several other restaurants are in close proximity. Boat and watercraft rentals are available right across the cove.
We collect a 9% Transient Occupancy Tax plus a 3% Feather River Tourism Marketing District (FRTMD) Fee payable to Plumas County Tax Collector.

We spent 5 days in this well-appointed cabin. The furniture inside and out was comfortable. The artwork brought warmth to the interior and even a TV in each room. We loved the convenience of a well-equipped kitchen with alternative meal options just across the street. The Restaurant & Bar had tasty food and the market had meats for a barbeque, wonderful house made salads and breakfast sweet rolls, not to mention a great liquor selection. Since the resort included a dock, Capt Rob of Almanor Fishing Adventures was able to pick us up only a few steps from our cabin for a day of fishing. For spin fishing we met Mark of Sierras Fly and Tackle who showed us on a video screen the best shore fishing spots. We also explored The Blue Goose Gallery, a five minute drive from the cabin. We were surprised by the variety and quality of the works the local arts have created. Without a doubt we will be back to this heavenly cabin and sportswomen paradise.

Very nice, warm and cozy cabin next to the lake. Hosts were fantastic and attentive. I recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a fun and beautiful spot to relax. We enjoyed visiting Lassen NP near by plus viewing a million billion stars

The cabin is clean and comfortable and in a great location. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck and listening to the geese flying over and watching them land on the lake! The beds are located right under a window, so you can let the fresh air in at night. We would stay again.

What a great visit! The cabin is extremely clean, cozy, and charming. The beds are so comfortable. We slept like babies. The large doorless shower was great! The cabin has many amenities. The view of the lake is wonderful. The hosts, Karen and Clint, were so hospitable. What wonderful hosts. So convenient to stores and restaurants. We love to hike and Clint had a wonderful agenda we could follow to enjoy the scenery. It was amazing. Thank you, Clint and Karen for being amazing hosts and making our stay that much better.

We loved this cabin (#3)! Four of us ladies stayed here for several nights and we appreciated how light and bright the cabin was. Looks like it was fairly recently redone and had plenty of room for us to cook and eat at the table in the kitchen.

Karen was very responsive when we made our reservation, and we found everything to be really wonderful at the cabin. The location on the lake was spectacular and it was a joy to relax on the deck as the cool breeze blew off of the lake. The cabin was extremely clean, the beds were very comfortable, sheets and linens were provided and were of very good quality. The cabin was very quiet, dog friendly, with plenty of room for two people. While we didn't use the nicely remodeled kitchen, the appliances all seem new and in great shape. It's a terrific location for rest and relaxation, with the town of Chester about 15 minutes away. The damage from the Dixie fire was not evident around this area of Lake Almanor and the beautiful pine trees were lovely. We also enjoyed sitting on the dock and jumping in the cool, clean water. If you have a boat, there's a slip provided for you, which would be very convenient. All in all, a fabulous stay.

On the Lake, and lots of nice people

This was exactly the place for us to relax. The deck had lake views, the lawn was wonderful for the dogs to play on and the neighbors were all very friendly. Easy to find, grocery, coffee house and great bar/restaurant all within a block away. We had a little concern with the stove and the owner was quick with a solution. We will definitely be back.

Our family & Tucker, the yellow lab, thoroughly enjoyed our time at this cabin. Everything we needed was close by. The Jack & Jill bathroom was a little awkward but the kitchen & outside deck were great. We would gladly stay here again. Thank you Karen & Clint!

Great lakefront

This was my third summer going there at this cabin. It is very cozy and in a fabulous location. Love that you could swim off the dock or off the boat ramp and go across the street for a restaurant or grocery store. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Lakside Cabins!

Lakeside Resort is one of the best places you can stay on the water in Almanor if you are looking for peace and quiet or fun with the family. The cabins are very well maintained and property managers are very helpful and communicative with whatever you need during your stay! I recommend these cabins to anyone who wants to be Lakeside for any amount of time but still have the luxury of cooking and enjoying a beautiful deck to sit and enjoy the views.

Almanor/Lassen Park

Great location with a beautiful lake, boat rental, clean cabin, and very responsive host when we had a plumbing problem. Fairly close to Lassen Park, which was also a great experience. We would definitely come back!
