"Stayed here for a week as a base to mooch around Mayo where my family roots are. Hotel decor is a little tired here and there but that did not affect our enjoyment or not make hotel VFM. Lots of friendly local/Irish staff, which I think helps to add warmth to the atmosphere and is perhaps unusual for this size of hotel - perhaps because of Westport’s size? Food is great. Had been meaning to climb Croagh Patrick for a while and finally got round to it this time. This is not for the feint-hearted...

"The hotel is beautiful inside and out. Rooms spacious and immaculate. Comfortable beds. Food and drink couldn’t be faulted. Great choice at breakfast. Westport is a lovely town with plenty to see and do. Highly recommend "

"Chose Clew Bay Hotel over the Wyatt and not disappointed - staff fantastic from the start, breakfast really exceptional and 24hr parking cheap (€3) and convenient. 10/10 will be back!"
