Beautiful rooftop, unfortunate stay. Repeatedly asked about the possibility of an early check-in, and was ignored. When we arrive, they insist on their strict rule for early check-in that would cost an additional 20AUD/per hour. Zero Info of this despite asking repeatedly. Had I known the strict policy/fee beforehand, I would have made a different decision and book other hotels, as big chain hotel would grant you rooms directly when it’s available. The hotel gives off boutique vibe but also young but also modern? However 0 hospitality, for 4 stars hotel it feels like staying in a hostel, no one cares for you at all, nor your luggage or helping to open door or basically anything when you lug around big suitcases. Also at the room we stay, there are some noise issues. More importantly, I found the lack of upfront communication VERY DISAPPOINTING and not hospitable. Will avoid next time.
