"The most welcoming and clean hotel i have visited in a long time"

"Was greeted on arrival and shown amenities and room , very pleasant and warm welcome. The entire place was so clean and fresh and had a warm atmosphere. The room was great , free tea,coffee etc, and shower gel,shampoo, conditioner. Bed was really comfortable and had a good night sleep. Clean throughout and up to date decor .Tv was nice to watch before sleeping. The shower was nice in the morning. And the breakfast was so tasty , really cooked well and the sample of fruit was a nice touch ,...

"property located in a quiet residential area located at 20 minutes walk from town centre .property is a bid dated and could do with a bit more cleaning .no much water coming for the shower ,bed and sofa bed very uncomfortable and we had a cockroach visiting while we were there .we found a trap under the sink in toilet therefore business must be aware of issue. not many choices for a family room in the area especially at last minute but we won’t return in this hotel "

"The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area."

"When I arrived it said there was a reception at the rear. There was nothing but a locked door. I was lucky that there was a fellow guest who could let me in and ring the manager. When I got in the room it was unmade from the previous guest, the sheets where dirty, there were bedsheets in the washbasin, dirty towels on the bed, the two towels that were folded up and put in the wardrobe were stained. The duvet smelled of urine. All in all very dirty and you'd be better going somewhere clean."

"Not brilliant really I'm afraid to say. Welcome was nice enough and the guy on duty was really happy to move his car so I could park my van in the parking area. He was very kind in this respect. However the room (no 2) was quite shabby. At first glance it looked ok but look closer and it definitely needs modernisation and at the very least a deep clean and paint job.
