Family Vacation 2025

This is the 4th year we’ve rented this property. The four bedrooms have ample room for our daughters and sons in-law. The kids room has two big bunks with trundles that sleeps 8! It’s a fun room for the children. The beachfront backyard is the highlight! The comfy couch with shaded gazebo, outdoor dining area, grill, outdoor shower, fire pit with chairs in the sand. The view is beautiful! Low tide brings the sandbar our daily exploration for the family. Love this place!

All the Beachy Vibes

This was the best place to celebrate my family member’s 60th! Being right on the water was amazing! We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, the beachy air and the outdoor setting. Inside was clean and adorable. The bunk beds were much larger than appears in the picture. If you want a little getaway to enjoy the salty air, I highly recommend! The owner was very timely in getting back regarding any questions I had and was friendly.

Tranquil oasis

This is the perfect, beautiful tranquil oasis for a family with all age groups - relaxing, and being together to swim, shell, go crabbing, biking, etc. It doesn’t get any better than this, to be able to walk out the back door and be on the beach!

We had a wonderful time!

Wow, the cottage is perfectly located on the sound. The water was calm and shallow for the kids to play safely. The beach is the backyard. The house was clean, the beds were made, there were plenty of shower and beach towels. David responded quickly. We would love to return! Thanks so much for making our 1st vacation with our close friends perfect!

Another Great Stay

Our second summer renting this home and while the weather was not on our side it was still a wonderful time. The location really cannot be beat, especially for the price. The true sandy beachfront is enjoyable no matter the tide, so many other homes on this beach lose their beach at high tide. Fishing, the sandbar and the pier were big hits and the neighbors were very nice and friendly. The kitchen has everything you need and it’s a wonderful stay for a large group or family. We had ten adults showering in a row and never ran out of hot water! Would highly recommend this home and we look forward to coming back for summer number three. David was friendly, responsive and helpful.

disappointed

upon arrival the bathroom was left used and unflushed , the downstairs bedroom was musty and smelled until we removed rug that was source of odor. The overall cleanliness was subpar. upstairs tv's either didn't work or no remote. used soaps were left in both showers. charging premium price for location is no excuse for lack of quality of cleanliness. The grill was disgustingly dirty and greasy afraid to cook on it

Sales family beach vacation

This was our 4th year renting this house on the beach. We already reserved it for next summer! We look forward to this family vacation all year. Our grandchildren love the sand bar adventures daily. We spend the day in the water and on the beach. The house has a nice open first floor for family time. Plenty of space for all 12 of us. The kids love the bunk room with trundle beds! We even made friends with the neighbors over the years! Highly recommend this cottage on the beach!

Excellent outdoor sapce!

The property is conveniently located with the best outdoor space we have had at a beach rental. Owner has done a nice job updating the house/furniture, but you will want to spend most of your time outside! The ability to lounge by the house, grill on the large webber grill, eat at one of the outside tables, or sit by the fire at night listening to the waves was exactly what we needed. We are country folks, so after visiting with our small dog, we opted to bring her home so we wouldn't have to manage her on a leash the entire time. Plenty of sleeping in the small house for our 6-person family (although we only slept there 2 times during the week). The private beach was great. We only saw a few people walking through or heading to the jetty to fish...otherwise the beach was all ours. Perfect. Property manager was very responsive to all communications.
