Welcome to Grizzy’s Getaway. Enjoy the peaceful serenity offered by 2 wooded acres. NO SMOKING OR PETS ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES. The perfect escape for families, guys trips, girls trips, couples, wedding parties and friends. Within a short drive of several parks/beaches, downtown Holland and Holland State Park. One mile from Kouw Park on Lake Michigan. All the amenities you could want or need including an exercise room, full laundry room, pool table, ping pong table, foosball table, darts, outdoor playscape, basketball, fire pit, gas grill and more. Equipped for remote working or remote school with Wi-Fi throughout, desks in three rooms, wireless printer/scanner and high speed internet. Sleeps 16.

The open concept main level features a living room with vaulted ceilings, large windows and a gorgeous two-story double sided fieldstone fireplace. The beautiful, open, well stocked kitchen has newly finished hardwood floors, maple cabinets and stainless steel appliances. 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and the laundry room round out the main level.

Head upstairs to the generous loft area that has artful custom built bunk beds, a daybed and an arts and crafts area.

The finished walkout level features a large family/recreation room with 65” TV , game closet, pool table, foosball table, Galaga/Pac-man arcade machine, dart board, ping pong table, bar area, kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, 3 bedrooms and a full bath.

Tons of outdoor activities on the property including basketball, cornhole, spike ball, outdoor Yahtzee, and swing set. Fully stocked exercise room located in third car garage stall (heated in winter). Enjoy your morning coffee or a nightcap on the large covered front porch or on the back deck or patio. Roast s’mores over the fire pit while watching the occasional wild turkey stroll by. No matter what outdoor spot you pick, you will be able to enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the 2 acre wooded lot.

NO SMOKING OR PETS ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES. IF THIS RULE IS VIOLATED, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE, NO REFUND WILL BE ISSUED AND A $500 FEE WILL BE ASSESSED.

Kouw Park (beach) 1 mile away, Riley Trails and Windsnest Park (beach) 3 miles away, Hemlock Crossing 4 miles away, Tunnel Park 5 miles away, Kirk Park (beach) 5.5 miles away. Downtown Holland is just a 15 minute drive offering great shopping, restaurants, breweries and entertainment. Holland State Park known for its sugar sand beaches, beautiful sunsets and views of the "Big Red" lighthouse with paddle boat rentals and playgrounds is just a 12 minute drive away.

This was our second time staying at this property and it was just as fabulous! Angela is so communicative and the house is beautiful, spotless, and family friendly! Our teenagers love the ping pong and the basketball hoop! The woods around the house are beautiful and secluded! Also the furniture is very comfortable! Hope we can stay again next year! !

Excellent accommodations. Beds were firm, the kitchen had everything we needed. The play yard was a perfect area for our 2 little grandchildren. The owner was easy to reach before and during our stay. There are beautiful parks and Lake Michigan beaches nearby. I do have one small complaint: some of the artwork is less than inspiring, but nobody cared! We just hung out at the fire pit or played pool!

We stayed here because my daughter was getting married in Holland. It was the perfect location, perfect setting, and perfect house! The size of the house was perfect for our family and extended family. We are already planning on coming back! Incredible Host & Property!

Angela was an amazing host from the moment we booked our trip. She was so responsive and pleasant with all communications and check-in was a breeze. The property was absolutely beautiful and incredibly clean. The pictures don’t do the house justice because it is huge! We had my entire family of 16 adults and kiddos and we had more than enough room. There were plenty of things to do for entertainment at the house and it was in a great location close to the beach, hiking trails, shops and restaurants. We were all sad to have to leave this beautiful place. Angela, my family made memories at your property we will remember for years to come and we thank you for such an amazing stay!

Michigan Magic

Beautiful house tucked among the trees, with incredible outdoor space! A well appointed layout for a large group with kids. Extremely well stocked home with bathroom items, laundry detergent, NICE beach towels and games galore. The host thought of everything and It made our stay enjoyable and stress free.

The house was perfect! Plenty of rooms, open space, outside areas, and very clean. The owner was in constant contact to answer questions as needed. Simple instructions and many accommodating support supplies. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon.

A fantastic getaway for large group of friends with young children

Overall, this property was a fantastic option for our vacation, which included quite a large number of very young children. The house was well furnished and had very nice sleeping and living quarters. When a few unexpected things popped up, the host made it right immediately. The host was also very able to reach and quite responsive. I will likely return to this property again if visiting the area and would recommend it to everyone!

Extended Family Retreat

The property is fantastic and very clean. Spacious for sure. The beds were good. Woodsy property. The great room was very airy, but there were no reading lamps which would have improved the ambiance and ability to read a book as the overhead lights were a bit dim. The kitchen was fabulous and outdoor areas were great. While the bed situation fit our family, a few of the bunk beds are strictly for children as they were a bit on the short side. All in all it was a nice place to use as our base of operations for the family wedding.

Terrific

We totally filled the house. It was a terrific stay and we totally enjoyed ourselves. Great communication and patience with me and my lack of technological knowledge. Pickleball a mile away every morning, lots of ping pong, playground and beach down the road and a huge public beach in Holland with awesome shoppes. Be sure to try the cherry shoppe-the cherry salsa is so delicious. I highly recommend this place and Angela was great to work with. We hope to return

Family Friendly

This is our second time staying here and both times it was perfect for our extended family. There are many activities to do on the property and a fire pit to enjoy in the evening. The yard is large and far enough from the road so the younger kids can play safely outside. It is a short drive to several beaches and close to groceries as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Family Getaway

Property was just as advertised. In beautiful condition with a lot of extras....and I think we used them all!!! Lots of kitchens supplies and appliances. Lots of dishes and silverware. Plenty of seating for our large group. The yard was great for outdoor games as well as the fire pit was terrific for roasting marshmallows. The home is close to multiple beaches to enjoy Lake Michigan as well as close to Holland to load up on supplies. Bedrooms were well split up so no one felt on top of each other and the play/activity room on the first level kept our kids well entertained. The homeowner was very responsive to all requests and followed through on everything. Couldn't have asked for more!

Great trip!

We had a wonderful week with our extended family. Close proximity to the beach and downtown Holland made it ideal for shoppers and beach goers alike. We took a morning trip to Mac Woods Sand Dunes and watched the sunset in the evenings at either Tunnel Park beach or Ottawa beach. The property was secluded with lots of outdoor activities to enjoy. The lower level had lots of board games as well as ping pong, darts and Ms. Pac-Man. Angela was easy to reach and quick to respond to questions! Thanks for a great week!

Girls’ Weekend Tulip Festival

Comfortable, extremely clean, quiet location, relaxing, awesome property! This was a perfect get away weekend for our ‘girls’ weekend’ which included 4 gals age 55+, four gals ages 28-38, and 2 little girls ages 5 &6! I highly recommend this beautiful house!

Beautiful and comfortable

This is a beautiful home, spacious, clean and a great layout for a family gathering. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The lower level was a fun place for kids to hang out, play pool, foosball, ping pong and Ms Pacman. The out door area was great for outdoor meals, for kids to play, and for s’mores around a campfire. The host, Angela was easy to contact and happy to help in any way needed. Location is close to parks, beaches and Holland attractions. We were delighted with this location.
