The space itself is great, nice location and layout. The host is very good at responding to questions and helpful. My only complaint is the furniture is not very comfortable for lounging, otherwise it's a good option.

I needed a change of scenery for a few days. This was a lovely get away. I particularly enjoyed the simple but styled aesthetic and the private deck. It was a relaxed atmosphere. To get all the stars across the board I'd have loved coffee or tea and since there is an image of a well stocked bar I would have expected more than a half a bottle of wine. Other than that everything was great.

West Hartford Stay

On site parking appreciated. Great location for our needs. As noted in other comments, the hallway leading to the apartment could use some sprucing, but the apartment itself had what we needed and was clean and comfortable. Host communicates well.We would return in the future-good place for visiting family in W. Hartford.

Adorable small apartment

I stayed here for 4 weeks with my dog. The host is extremely responsive and accommodating. The unit is on the 3rd floor so be prepared to do a lot of stairs. The neighborhood felt safe and the parking was convenient.

Place was great, everything we needed. Just be aware that there are two flights of stairs you have to climb. Bed was very comfortable. LOTS of streaming channels (not that we used very many). Close to shopping, and the friends we were visiting. All in all, most acceptable.

Excellent location in West Hartford - convenient to Elizabeth Park, UHart, and downtown. Parking was easy in the on-site lot. Apartment was very clean. It's great for a single traveler or couple in the bed. The couch/fold-out bed is pretty minimal. Quite firm, it folds out an extension section and isn't a mattress. I wouldn't recommend more than a single youth on it. Only challenges were related to VRBO process itself - it was a little hard to find the door-lock codes in the various mails/places to check, and it takes a while for the security deposit to be refunded. That aside, the host communicated well and helped with a special request. That was very much appreciated, and we're looking ahead to staying again.

Great for a weekend.

Our host was amazing! I quickly received responses and all my questions and needs were met. The apartment was very clean and the upper deck was a welcomed retreat. Keep in mind that this is on the third floor. We knew this ahead of time, so it wasn’t an issue. On first entering, the stairwell to our apartment had us questioning our choice, it could use new carpet and a clean paint job, but once in the apartment, all was clean and cared for. Close walking distance to a great Mexican restaurant. Nice neighborhood with plenty of dog walkers and quiet neighbors. All of our basic needs were met and we had three good nights of rest.
