***Property Overview***
Sea Orchard Retreat offers individuals, couples, families, and small groups the opportunity to combine a relaxing Caribbean vacation with watersports, eco-excursions, and wellness treatments from private vendors for massage, yoga, and more! We maintain a complete list of preferred vendors for many activities, excursions, and wellness services.

We are a gated oceanfront boutique of finely decorated cottages on the quiet northern coast of Grand Cayman, located only 10 minutes from the watersports, golfing, dining, and leisure attractions of Seven Mile Beach. The shops of George Town & Camana Bay are also only a short drive away.

Sea Orchard Retreat offers four private two-bedroom and two-bathroom cottages with a large resort pool with a heated spa, plus an on-site gym, oceanfront inspiration cabanas, and seaside lounging hammocks. Our managers can arrange group airport transportation, or they can help arrange a rental car should you desire.

Papagallo Restaurant is within walking distance, and the new Kimpton Seafire Resort & Spa is only 5 minutes by car. We are also only a 5-minute walk from Barkers Beach, an oceanfront nature conservancy where nesting turtles, birds, and other fauna are all protected, and kiteboarding is popular.

Sea Orchard is also a popular venue for destination weddings, counseling groups, spiritual retreats, yoga retreats, and small informal gatherings. We aim to accommodate our guests' needs!

The resort usually requires a 3-night minimum stay, however, during low season the owner may consider shorter "staycation" bookings. Please inquire for further details.

The entire property can sleep a maximum of 26 guests, 18 adults max due to licensing restrictions. We have proper sleeping beds for 16 adults and rollaway beds and sleeper sofas that can accommodate the rest.

The property boasts 400 feet of natural shoreline on a reef-protected marine park. While it has a sandy beach that is raked periodically, it is not a barefoot swimming beach. However, guests are provided both complimentary water shoes and snorkeling equipment, along with kayaking gear, to explore the waters.

***Booking Rules***

***Beach Notes***
All beaches in Grand Cayman are technically public since the Crown owns up to the high watermark. Be advised, the beach or water entry behind your property may vary slightly from the images displayed due to shifting weather and tide patterns. The next-door beach is also always available for your use. We advise guests to wear foot protection (pool socks or aqua shoes) when entering the ocean to avoid injury on coral heads, ironshore, or rocks.

***Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed***
Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum weed seasonally. Sargassum is a generally harmless floating seaweed that has increased in frequency in recent years. Although sargassum is an unsightly nuisance, it is largely seasonal in summer. Our owners do make efforts to remove heavy sargassum and will have the beach raked before your arrival.

Should sargassum be extremely heavy behind your property, we will reach out to the owner for alternative solutions, which may include a partial refund or relocation. We try our best to work around Mother Nature.
