We planned a family get away with extended family and our dogs for a fall long weekend. We wanted to gather, cook, enjoy each other's company and relax with the dogs. There was a great gathering space, and plenty of room for each of us to have our own space as well. Although we were not planning a weekend with a million nearby attractions, we sure could have. There was plenty to do in the nearby towns of French Lick and West Baden.The accommodations were comfortable and the hosts Sherry Joe, and the property manager Cindy were kind and welcoming and have thought of everything. Plenty to do just on the property alone. We definitely will be returning to such o lovely property.

The best stay ever. Such a special spot to relax and enjoy the sunshine and family. Our 8 year old granddaughter caught a huge wide mouth bass in the pond. Even the dog went for a swim.The firepit was the center of attention for everyone. And the kitchen, what didn’t it have? The rooms were clean and comfy. The perfect spot for a family to have Thanksgiving, or just to celebrate life.Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at The Lodge.

Our family reunion was perfect largely in part to our VRBO selection of the Lodge. It easily accommodated 14 people. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed but the food. The beds we're comfy, towels were luxurious and the hot tub was outstanding. And there was a sprawling tree perfect for our family picture. Thank you!

Family get together

we had a great time. The facility is perfectly placed with easy drive to French Lick\West Baden. Lot of activities - just have to be willing to drive a bit and look around. Perfect facility for wide range of ages to roam and enjoy.

Great weekend in West Baden

The property was perfect for our group of 10. We skied Paoli Friday night, Saturday and Sunday. It snowed Saturday night and we woke up to a beautiful snow covered property. Lots of memories made this weekend!

Fire Pit Rest

We had a group of families go to The Polar Express and this VRBO was a great place for us to stay and relax. The kids enjoyed playing outside on this beautiful farm while the adults gathered around the fire pit that was well stocked with wood and comfy chairs. We look forward to staying here again. It is very close to French Lick and the scenic railway.

Friends French Lick Golf Trip

The 8 of us enjoyed the property immensely! Since we cooked dinner 2 nights (lasagna and steaks if you are wondering) we found the kitchen very well stocked and the dining area perfect! The large wood fired grill came was very useful. The fire pit was enjoyed every night....thanks for the well-stocked firewood. Sherry and Cindy, thanks so much for chance to visit and enjoy the space as well as your excellent communication and hospitality!

Family Time

We had a large family group - ages 7 months to early 60’s. More than enough space to spread out and enjoy each other. We cooked up delicious meals in the well stocked kitchen, gathered in the lodge area to play cards and games and enjoyed the well cared for grounds. You need to bring nothing but your food - literally anything else you need is there. We enjoyed all the little touches like the s’mores kits and pre-laid fire pit. Just a great place.

It was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the hikes and making memories around the campfire and rec room. The kids loved the "Harry Potter" closet with 2 beds. Super clean and stock with anything we could possibly need. We will definitely be booking again!

Awesome Slice of Indiana Heaven

We loved the place and Sherry the host was excellent when greeting us and orienting. Wish we could have stayed longer. It's the perfect place for a group of French Lick golfers.

Great weekend!

We came down for a bachelor party, and chose the lodge because of the proximity to French Lick and size of the property. We were not disappointed. The outdoor areas were everything we envisioned and perfect for our group. The fire pit and outdoor games got a lot of use! The big kitchen was great for cooking big group meals. Sherry and Cindy were both extremely responsive all weekend. In my opinion, they hit the sweet spot in terms of giving us our space, but also checking in each day to make sure we weren't having any issues. I would highly recommend.
