Pre-arrival grocery service. 100 m long steep motor access to the house. Shop, supermarket 800 m, restaurant 500 m, bar, bakery 800 m, 10 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.8 km, railway station "Wengen" 800 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 800 m, children's playground 500 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

Perfect for our family

We stayed here with our two kids aged 5 and 7. It was wonderful! We arrived late and the after hours key process was simple and easy to follow. We enjoyed the walk between here and town and it wasn't a problem for the kids at all (somewhat steep but to be expected on a mountainside!) Plenty to see on the way, as the views from this place are spectacular! No need to leave as the valley is laid out in front of the balcony, but we did explore as the train system is easy to use and there is a hiking path to neighboring towns/mountains that starts right out the door. We would definitely stay again.

Home from Home

Beautiful apartment with a stunning view. Lots of little things that made it feel more homey like books, DVDs, extra bedding, iron and ironing board and even a hot water bottle! The TV had all the main English terrestrial channels and we were even able to log-in to our Netflix account. The kitchen is well equipped and has an oven but no microwave. The cost of eating out and even buying food from the supermarket is very high so worth bringing a few bits with you. The apartment is on the second floor and the walk up into Wengen high street is not for the faint-hearted (about 10/15 mins steep uphill walking) but it certainly gets your heart rate going in the morning! We also got 2 keys for the apartment which was handy if you wanted to split up and do your own thing. We had a really relaxing holiday and were extremely happy with the apartment.

Wonderful Property - Just a bit of a walk

The property was really comfortable and very well done. We really liked staying here because of the well stocked kitchen, comfortable living room, and amazing view on the balcony (with a fold out table on the railing. The only thing that was a drawback was that it was about a 10 minute walk up a steep hill from the town. I would definitely stay here again, but it did make going back and forth to town or the store a bit less convenient.
