Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, supermarket 400 m, restaurant 100 m, bar, bakery 400 m, 5 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.4 km, railway station "Wengen" 400 m, outdoor swimming pool 600 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 400 m, children's playground 150 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Additional accommodations can be booked. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

Bright, practical and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with dining table, cable TV, radio, CD-player and DVD. 1 room with 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm). 1 room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, raclette grill, fondue Set (cheese)). Check in not bad - but did not clarify where the Interhome office was. Good location, comfortable beds. Building that it is in is slightly depressing. Unit is in the basement with minimal lighting. Bathroom with poor ventilation, musty persistent smell despite opening all windows. Shower curtain doesn’t cover tub completely so water leaks easily. Only 1.5 toilet paper rolls given for 4 night stay. Overall 3/5. Not up to the standard of most other short term rentals I have stayed at.

The apartment was good but needs a few improvements. We didn’t have enough towels or pillows. It was in an ok location. It was quiet which was nice. There aren’t really any views from the patio. The mattresses are old and uncomfortable, same with the pillows. The kitchen was stocked with lots of random things but didn’t have any filters for the coffee machine. Check in was easy but you have to wait until 3pm for the office to open. It was an ok experience but I would not book here again.

The apartment had all the amenities we needed - comfortable (smallish) bedrooms with enough cupboards for storage, clean and spacious bathroom, well equipped kitchen, a dining area and a comfortable living room. The outdoor space was nice alternative to have your afternoon snack. The apartment is a 4 minute walk from the Wengen train station and close to the Coop grocery. It’s a convenient location. Don’t be alarmed by the hallway which had a basement look and musty smell. It made me second guess this place the first time we walked in but it’s all good and legit. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Wengen

Our summer trip to Lauterbrunnen and Wengen was amazing. The hikes and vistas were incomparable and we would go there again. This property was immaculate, clean, modern, and an excellent location.

Super ausgestattete Ferienwohnung, auch wenn das Mobiliar auf den ersten Blick einfach wirkt. Der Blick auf die Berge ist leider eingeschränkt, sonst ist das eine sehr schöne Wohnung in einem tollen Ort. Von dort sind viele schöne Wanderungen möglich.
