Cozy New Cabin in the Woods

Rediscover the beauty of nature from this charming cabin, off the beaten path and just minutes from the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. Nestled in the woods, it’s ideal for those looking to explore the great outdoors and spot local wildlife. Secluded, peaceful spot that’s still close enough to local attractions, great restaurants, hiking, biking, fishing and shopping. Sit out on the cozy front porch to sip your coffee or local wines and enjoy the fresh air!
This new construction cabin sits on a 2 acre wooded site. It has a spacious bedroom with a queen size bed, full bath and open living space design. The roomy living area has a queen sized sleeper sofa. The kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, keurig and a fabulous built-in bench style table. The open loft has a twin sized day bed and adorable padded window bench. Linens are provided but no linen service during your stay. Wifi, Dish network and a dvd/blu-ray are available.

We have stayed here a number of times and it always exceeds expectations. The communication from Traci is always great. It is always exceptionally clean upon arrival and there is obviously a great deal of thought put into guest comfort and attention to detail. Great location if you are looking for a quiet escape but still convenient to several local points of interest.

After this…we are making it a thing. We recently enjoyed a wonderful weekend at a cozy cabin in the woods while attending the Dickens Christmas weekend festivities in Wellsboro, and it was truly a fantastic experience! While the cabin wasn’t decorated for the holidays, it was beautifully appointed, perfectly capturing the charm of a rustic retreat. Our group of three friends gathered to spend quality time together, and we loved exploring all the delightful activities that the quaint town of Wellsboro has to offer, just a short 15-minute drive away. We attended the Dickens Christmas weekend in town for the first time. The cabin provided a comfortable and inviting space for us to relax, make hot cocoa, and watch Hallmark Christmas movies while we wrapped presents for our favorite people. This was probably one of my favorite rental properties! Our family and also our friend group stay at short-term rentals a few times a year, and this cabin ranks in my top three. It was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches like extra toothbrushes, soft towels, and cozy sheets that enhanced our stay. The spacious layout allowed us to unwind and connect, while the privacy of the cabin made it feel like our own little escape. It was cold outside, but inside was always warm and inviting. I highly recommend this lovely cabin to anyone looking to explore the Wellsboro area. It truly made our weekend memorable!

This cabin was so clean which I appreciate so much after staying in some that clearly were not. Even the chairs around the fire pit were clean! It was so secluded but yet not too far from town. Water is drinkable & tastes great. Communication with Traci was great as well. If I had anything negative to report it would be that we didn't find the bed very comfortable. We will recommend this cabin to anyone going to this area, and we will definitely book again when we come back to the area. Thank you Traci!

This was our second stay at this property. Our first time was three years ago when it was first offered on VRBO and everything was just as well kept this trip as our first visit. Walking in the front door this time, I even commented that everything still smelled new. It was clean, well stocked and inviting. I enjoyed the feeling of being deep in the woods but close to the town of Wellsboro and all the hiking trails, biking, canoeing, horseback riding and shopping. So many options. We are looking forward to another returned trip to the same location. Thanks Traci!

If I could award 6 stars for cleanliness and communication I would! Traci was gracious and quick to respond to a minor issue while we were there (battery in smoke detector needed attention). Wooded property is on a dirt road with minimal traffic so it’s very quiet yet it’s close to the Pine Creek trail and Leonard Harrison State Park and only 15 minutes to Wellsboro. Do check out the Yellow Basket (just a couple miles ) for delicious ice cream creations!

This is a lovely cabin in first rate condition. Spacious, comfortable, uncluttered, and tastefully furnished. Set on a wooded property, private and quiet. Just a few miles from Leonard Harrison state park with its overlook of the Pine Creek Gorge. Also nearby is access to the Pine Creek rail trail and Colton State Park with overlooks and hiking trails. The surrounding country side is lovely so you can enjoy walking on the roads.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Such a beautiful home/property! Everything was extremely clean and maintained very well. We enjoyed having coffee on the front porch in the mornings. Very peaceful and quiet. We noticed that sometimes when the AC kicked on, it caused a brief power surge, nothing extreme, but it did cause the router and the smoke detector to restart at one point. One minor thing…the provided kitchen and bathroom towels/rags absorbed a lot of water and didn’t really dry well when hung and they started to have an odor towards the end of our stay. Definitely not an inconvenience just something we noticed. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home!
