This condo is located in Wellington Manor, a quaint complex that sits half a mile from the heart of Wells. You can spend your days kayaking and sunbathing at Drake's Island Beach (two miles east), strolling the peaceful nature trails at Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge (two miles northeast), or perusing dozens of antique shops on Wells' charming stretch of Route 1.

Things to Know
The community pool is closed January, February and March. It reopens in April and April thru August you can swim from 8am to 10pm. September thru December the pool also is open with pool hours of 8am to 9pm.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
This rental is located on floor 1.

Said it was on the first it was up a flight of stair and to most people that means its on the second floor, email sent to me stated unter amenities, said to check out the pool and hot tub and other things. We were very excited to be able to relax in the hot tub but there wasnt one. Its just a general message you send to everyone. Very confusing.

We absolutely loved the place. We were 3 adults and we had plenty of space. The only thing I would add is some pots/pans/fan above the oven. Otherwise, it was perfect, very quiet, well located, people were really nice on site. We would definitely go again!!

The property was very clean and everything provided as described. A tv channel guide would have been helpful along with info on where to put ur trash. We had to call Vacasa about garbage but finally found dumpster. A pull out sofa would be nice rather than two double beds. That way u have somewhere to relax besides a bed or kitchen chair.

Tried every day to stay there and left notes and then called the person on the door who said he had called the power company 4 times but overwhelmed from the storm Otherwise the place looked like it would have been a lovely restful place to stay which was what we needed but couldn’t get this time around. If we get a full refund would reccomend. The Vacassa person we dealt with by text was a lifeline who was very kind and helpful. Knowing that power outage had started at 6 am we wish we had been notified and would have saved the 4 hour drive.

Worst place we have ever stayed. We experienced what every person reading this fears will happen... we arrived at the unit, opened the door and my heart sank. The pungent odor of cigarette smoke hit me before I stepped through the door. I immediately thought of my 12 yr old son right behind me, who has asthma. It went downhill from there. This unit is disgusting and had not been cleaned at all. We found nail clipping on the table. I pulled the bed away from the wall to plug in a fan (we had to buy to air the place out) and saw a half eaten loaf of bread and dirty pair of underwear laying on the floor. I contacted the property twice, even called. They asked for pictures.... I sent them. Their only response "thank you, someone will follow up with you shortly". We never heard back during our entire stay. Beyond the obviously cleaning issues, there was no garbage can... which is bizarre for a full kitchen. Only 2 garbage bags. so we had to purchase our own, no cleaner for counters etc. again, had to go purchase cleaning products. All in all, this was a disaster. I would strongly recommend staying home elsewhere. Literally anywhere else at all.

Apartment was very clean when we arrived. Small studio apartment, great for a couple. We were traveling with 2 kids . Big enough for a 1 week stay otherwise would be a little too small for us . Additional door between the kitchen and bedroom would be great / a little privacy from kids/ . Kitchen stacked with pots, pans ,plates and anything you need if you want to cook something . Nice clean fluffy towels . Kitchen connected with bedroom. Very quiet place . Nice thrift store around the corner. Great location. Just few minutes away from Wells beach . Great restaurants around . Close to supermarket where you can find everything you want to buy . I would stay again.

Second floor walk up. Neat and clean. Plenty of towels. Enough plates and supplies. No dishwasher. Nice screened porch. Two double beds in main living / sleeping area but only a single chair for watching TV. This unit worked well for our short visit but might have been too small for a longer stay. The area is beautiful.

We were upset with the cleanliness and contacted the property manager through the website immediately and got no response whatsoever. With the covid pandemic and the cleaning fees we pay you would expect the unit to be cleaned but we saw no evidence that it had been cleaned - only sheets replaced: - body hair on the toilet seat - a lot of sand in the tub - Food scraps on the seats at the table - food scraps in microwave (not splatter, actual food pieces) - trash on counter - kitchen Matt’s not vacuumed - deck has sand, not vacuumed The unit itself was pretty nice but with the condition of the unit and No answer to our attempt to contact the property manager we had no choice but to do the extensive cleaning ourselves. You expect more care would go into cleaning units in general but especially with covid.

Great little condo rental right in the middle of town. We enjoyed the central location and easy access to Post Road and all of the action in Wells. Condo is a bit dated but most importantly was very clean and had all the necessities for a family of three to live and eat and be comfortable for a week plus. Plenty of towels and extra sheets which is always nice. Overall a solid little spot and would definitely return.

Very quaint Maine condo. Great location! No one bothered which was nice. Only thing was some of the bedding and towels had a few stains and the shower curtain liner had mold in spots. Over all we enjoyed our time here!
