First floor beach house with ocean and marsh views directly across the street from beautiful Wells Beach. Very Convenient beach access. (A crosswalk at the end of the driveway leads directly to Public Way #2). Nicely renovated with two private bedrooms and a large family room with a sleep sofa. Bright and sunny eat in kitchen. Newer bath, hardwood floors, deck and sunroom. Fully furnished. Bonus outside shower, off street parking and grill. Basement washer and dryer access. Cable, Satellite Wifi and DVD player. This is the first floor unit in a two unit house. The opportunity exists for large/multiple families wishing to vacation together to rent both the first floor and the second floor simultaneously. This provides the privacy of your own quarters along with the convenience of having friends or the whole or extended family in the same house. This place was super close to the beach. Just walked across the road to the short public beach access. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils etc.Beds were comfortable and back sunroom was nice to hang out and read a book. Front living area also had a couple of couches and large tv. The area and beach has so much to do that we didn't spend much time in the house. The host responded quickly to questions we had.Plan on staying here again for sure.

Bedroom window had no view and the other bedroom had no window. We expected that as we have stayed here before and always loved it. It is a wonderful cottage with a close and easy path to the sandy beach.

Great Beach Getaway

House had excellent access to beach, an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand, and the owner supplied beach items which was awesome. I did not see the listing mention that you need to bring your own towels and sheets, but the owner was very accommodating and provided these at my request. I really enjoyed the porches and deck as a great place for morning coffee or to wind down in the evening and catch an amazing breeze. You can catch a glimpse of the ocean and smell the ocean air from the front living room porch area or get a lovely view of the marshes from the back porch and deck. Parking is convenient and it is a great area to stay as it is a quick drive to so many great places to eat, shop, and kayak. I would definitely book this rental again

The property was clean and very close to the beach which was the main reason for our stay. Only complaint was that the listing stated a washer & dryer was on the property and no linens were provided.

Great location. Nicer to stay in a home than hotel room. Missed in contract of the need to bring own sheets and towels. Owner did graciously supplied to me. Upstairs client was noisy loud at night, even after quiet hours at 10pm, could hear footsteps whenever client was there.

Charming apartment steps from the beach

This is such a sweet and cozy place. Very clean and nicely decorated. Apartment had everything we needed for our 5 night stay ( fully equipped kitchen). Washer/dryer in basement was a huge plus ( we have 2 young boys, who make laundry like it is going out of style!). We had partial views of the ocean from the front and the estuary from the back. In the evening we could hear the ocean, it was very soothing. Kitchen had a big table, perfect for family meals and board games. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

A definite Yearly Re-Book!

Was pleasantly surprised with the amount of space for a family to spread out! Back sun porch sitting area is absolutely Beautiful with tons of fresh ocean air! Ocean walkway right across the street, could easily and quickly run back to house for restroom from the beach. We've been vacationing in Wells for 30+ years and will definitely be staying here from now on!

The contract is not up to date

The place is very well located… But there were no linen and towels…we had to buy them…just a roll of toilet paper,(for 3 persons for 3 days… it’s not enough and NO hot tub…also there’s a room with no windows… The items furnished should be review… Other than that everything was ok…

Awesome last minute get-a-way

It was a last minute mini vacation and we were very happy to find a place on Atlantic Ave. Being off season it was relatively quiet which we were looking for. We rented the 1st floor, very clean, quite spacious, we loved the front sunroom for morning and back sunroom for sunsets. Weather was nice enough for us to sit out back in the afternoon. Bed comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed. It is a 2 unit rental so the only downside was the upstairs had a tenant with young children that had a lot of energy early in the morning …if you are a light sleeper this could be an issue. I would definitely look to stay here again.

We had to book a last-minute rental for Christmas Prelude weekend after our initial place fell through. We were so happy to have found this spot! It was very clean with all the amenities you need. And the location can’t be beat. There was also great communication from the owners, who answered any and all questions we had in a very timely manner. Thanks for a great weekend!
