"What a lovely find this hotel was. Very smart boutique hotel. Bar and staff were amazing and very attentive. Food was lovely. Room was very clean and everything was provided. Top spec toilet rolls, tea and coffee and shower gel, shampoo/conditoner. Short 10 min walk into town which is worth a look. Continental brekkie was all you could ask for and eat as much as you wanted too. Only ask would be biscuits in your room to go with the tea/coffee. Would definitely return again. "
"The White Hart is a stunning Grade 1 listed building with beautiful cozy decor. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious.
All of the staff were friendly and welcoming and they had a fantastic food & range of beers & ciders (locally sourced)!
It is conveniently located very close to Wells market, the cathedral and Bishops Palace.
We would 100% recommend The White Hart to anyone who wishes to visit Wells"
"Our hosts Sarah & Andy could not have been more welcoming - absolutely wonderful, friendly people who went out of their way to look after us. English breakfast was superb with fresh #Farm local eggs & all the trimmings. Lovely to hear owls hoot at night & bird song in the morning. The night skies full of stars. Our room & shower were spotless! Well done 🙌"

"We are local to the hotel and stayed here for a few nights whilst some work was done on our home. We pop in frequently for breakfast anyway as it’s excellent value and very customisable, but found the room & service to be very good as well!"
"The staff were very welcoming and made a fuss of our little dog. The food was excellent and the wine was a treat. They were very helpful and friendly. The inn was very characterful and felt very homely. I highly recommend a stay at The Oakhill Inn. It was also very popular with the locals which speaks volumes. Bridget"

"Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally.
Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine.
