  • This is a private and roomy cottage with 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, built in 1975. There is a living room, a separate dining area, kitchen, laundry room with washer/dryer and a half bath along with a pleasant deck and yard. One bedroom with a double bed is on the main floor along with adjoining bath and the other bedroom with a double bed and bathroom is located in the lower level (walkout basement) with good light from windows. The cottage is located on a sand road about 1.5 miles from the Indian Neck beaches and about 5 to 10 minutes by car to Wellfleet Center, the ponds, and ocean beaches. An administrative fee and applicable taxes may apply. Linens not provided. Guests may rent linens or bring their own.

Great place for a family

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second year in a row renting this property and we had a great time again. No complaints to report. We look forward to staying here again.

I wish the listing told about the dirt road. It had many exposed tree roots, holes and bumps. A neighbor dumped stone in the larger spots but it was still slow travel with our car.

Cut house, great location, one draw back

The cottage was located in a quiet neighborhood on a dirt road. Close to national seashore and town beaches. Wa able to easily purchase a town beach permit online (pick up at office) with proof of stay. Rental agents helpful with questions. The only drawback of the house was the 2nd bed/bath in the basement was very damp. Definitely need to consider a dehumidifier for that area.

the condition of the unit was unsatisfactory. the whole place had an overpowering musty smell coming from the downstairs bedroom. unit needs some serous work.

Cup half full.

We loved the upstairs bedroom, kitchen, living room, bathrooms etc but the downstairs room is too full of mildew and mold. We wouldn’t have anyone stay there.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the property was great. Yard was well-maintained with a large private deck. The decor was dated (circa 1975), but it was clean and spacious. The only problem was the horrible mustiness mainly in the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. My guests could not sleep there due to the mustiness. How about a dehumidifier? Something needs to be done to correct this problem.

Quaint, clean spot

My mom and I stayed in this lovely home for two weeks - it had everything we needed to feel right at home. Property manager was responsive when we had a slight issue.
