The cat is a sweetheart! Thank you for the water in the room and all the advice on places to see! Close to the museums to walk to but the bus and tram are right there. The breakfast downstairs is worth the monez for sure. We enjoyed out basement room and our stay.

I booked this property expecting a comfortable and reliable stay in Amsterdam, but it ended up being an absolute nightmare. I ended up checking out early because the conditions were completely unacceptable and unsafe. First and foremost is a major security concern: during a neighborhood power outage on our second night, someone attempted to break into our room using a key card. Fortunately, my wife and I had barricaded the door with a chair. When I tried to reach staff for help, their listed "emergency number" was completely disconnected. The service failures only compounded from there. Housekeeping completely abandoned our room. We went multiple days with three days of accumulated trash, no fresh towels, and they failed to even deliver basic toilet paper after multiple direct requests. Furthermore, the "air conditioning" advertised is actually just an ineffective swamp cooler that requires you to keep the window open to vent hot air, making the room incredibly hot and exposing us to extreme street noise all night. I reached out directly to management to request a partial refund for checking out early due to these severe safety and health/hygiene failures, and they have completely ignored my emails. Do not stay here. They take your money, provide zero service, and leave you in an unsecured building with no support.

Really sweet and helpful staff, but this is an old building so no elevators and if you're on anything higher than the second floor you will be humping your bag up very narrow, steep and curved stairs. The room was cozy, what you would expect from an older European hotel. I would stay there again because it's very central to a lot of the historic area, which was convenient.

This hotel is located on a lovely spot on the canal. The view from our balcony was great. It is within 15 minute walk to the museum district. The big bathtub has been exactly so I’m talking ab was good after a long day on our feet. The staff was so helpful and the breakfasts were delicious! Do you have a form? It’s just a simpler way so it’s a form fill out next two minutes and we’ll do everything at your part so will inform you for everything so yes it’s it’s not a question. Will you get it because it’s already five hour delay you cannot land in less than three hour delay original time, unfortunately so thank you for sharing this. We’ll look at it.
