  • Cozy cottage in amazing Burnett county! This cottage has the highest quality appliances and furniture to make your stay comfortable and hassle free.
    While this cottage has an airplane hangar (46' X 36") with automatic 40' door, a 1765' grass runway, and use of a car (2018 Equinox 23,000 miles) making this the perfect vacation rental for the pilot, it is open to any vacationer that wants to spend time on dozens of nearby lakes, restaurants, and local shopping.
    Included in the rental is access to Johnson lake with a pontoon, diving platform, and dock space.
    The cottage has 1 king sized bed.

Overall stay was good! I would say the bathroom and couch could have been cleaner. Otherwise, it’s a very nice property that is close to the lakes. And Kelly is very friendly!

Family Weekend on Johnson Lake

The proximity to the family vacation was ideal for us. The place was very clean and provided us with our needed amenities.

Had a blast, tons of room for the dog and kiddo to run. The road the driveway is on is an ATV route so easy to get the side by side out. Having access to the pontoon just a couple miles away was a huge perk too and my boy loved it! The single bedroom is not walled off so if you have a young kid going to bed early you have to be kind of quiet because the tv and living room are not far away, but our boy was so tired from having so much fun he never noticed. Would definetely stay again and highly recommend.

Our stay was amazing. It was a nice distance away from our family and the host made sure our stay was great. He was very courteous when it came to our time and space.

Enjoyed my stay at this awesome property. Plenty of options for food nearby. Close to ATV trails, which i made use of during my stay. Easy check in with property owner who was avaliable anytime I called.

Peaceful Country Setting

We had a great time staying here. The place was super clean and comfortable with lovely country views. I enjoyed the kerug coffee and the sun pouring in the windows in the am. Kelly is a great host. I would stay here again for sure.

Generous Host

We stay at Kelly's place for proximity to a family lake home. The furnishings are comfortable and there are plenty of amenities including a game room, pontoon access and a vehicle for use if needed. Great host!

Fall getaway

Had a wonderful time! Location is wonderful- a short drive to trails, restaurants, etc, with plenty of space at the rental for enjoying time outside with family or letting the dog run. Kelly had great recommendations and the rental had everything we needed.

My husband and I flew here for our anniversary. The grass runway was well maintained, and the hangar was clean and easy to use for the plane. The home had everything we needed, including firewood for a campfire one night. Quiet and peaceful location, great for seeing all the stars too!

Relaxing nature getaway

Kelly was an amazing host, and very attentive to our every need. This is a truly unique property, but just right for us as a couple. We took amazing walks around lakes and saw deer, sandhill cranes, and listened to the loons while relaxing around the firepit. We can't wait to stay again.

Nice relaxing week in Wisconsin

Cool location, fully stocked kitchen, plenty of room for us. We were able to bring our dog which was nice. We had smores a few times and enjoyed having access to the pontoon. Was nice not having to worry about neighbors. Owner was very responsive, good Wi-Fi access. Got to see a plane come and go as well!

Relaxing and Private with lake access

This is our second time staying at this property and we hope to be back again. Private, well equipped with great amenities such as use of a pontoon boat, fire pit and pool/game building. Kelly is an extremely responsive and flexible host. Highly recommended if visiting friends in the area or just looking for a relaxing getaway.

Our stay was 3 days and 2 nights. Excellent communication from Kelly throughout, including recommendations for nightlife. Beautiful property and welcoming neighbors made this trip PERFECT for our needs! Thanks for everything, Kelly!

Great get away!

The property was beautiful and close to lakes so we could be on the boat most the days with a short drive back to the property. We loved that there was firewood to use so we could cook that way but even if your not a fan cooking on the fire the kitchen had everything you needed as well! Having the keurig was a great touch as well. Thanks for the great stay!

Perfect, Quiet Retreat Close to Lakes

This property fit our needs perfectly and Kelly was an amazing host. The apartment is fully equipped with anything you would need and very comfortable. We really appreciated the wide open spaces for our dogs to run as well. Having use of the Pontoon Boat was a fantastic perk. Definitely recommend and would stay here again when next in the area.

Great Host

Kelly was an amazing host! The property was clean and had the perfect amenities. Kelly was always available if we had questions. We will be booking for next year and bringing our family along!! Fishing was excellent on Johnson Lake. 5 stars for this property for sure.
