Are you needing a relaxing getaway to the Smoky Mountains? Come and enjoy our well decorated and comfortable cabin that features 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths along with an additional loft area, which features a futon for sleeping and watching TV and DVDs. Access to the home is paved and only minutes from Downtown Waynesville, Downtown Maggie Valley, local attractions, shopping, many restaurants and breweries and much more. If you feel the need, Asheville is only 40 minutes from the cabin and full of all the restaurants, bars, shopping and attractions you will need.
The main level of the cabin has a covered porch that wraps around to the new 3 burner grill and down to the hot tub that is located on the back side of the home. A huge, brand new deck was just installed on the back of the house, which features a fire pit, a picnic table and many country themed decorations, which make you feel right at home in the mountains. There is also a one acre, level yard for the children and adults to enjoy the outdoors and a small creek and pond just off the back of the house
Step inside to an open concept of a living room, dining room and a fully equipped kitchen that has new stainless steel appliances. There is also a working gas fireplace, which really sets the mood and provides additional heat in the colder months. In addition to the fireplace, brand new Mitsubishi mini split AC/heating systems were also just installed. Brand new leather reclining couches were also just purchased for the home. The master is on the main level and features a king size bed with an updated mattress and full bath with a new tile shower. A TV is located in the living room and in the upstairs loft, both with DVD players and over 100 DVDs to choose from including many children's programs. There is NO cable or satellite in this home, but the main TV in the living room is a smart TV, so you can log in to your Amazon Prime account, Netflix or Hulu and stream any program offered on these stations
Venture upstairs to the second bedroom, which has a queen bed and a loft area with a full futon and TV set up for DVD's There is also a full bathroom, so all guests staying upstairs enjoy the privacy of their own full bathroom.
There is a small fishing lake across the street with many large and small fish that are stocked by a local resident. This is a shared pond and we ask that you please catch and release any fish you catch.

Wonderful visit, very cozy and comfortable. Loved the decor, the selection of DVDs and the books. The layout was great. Enjoyed the fishing pond and the back deck. Would definitely stay again! The host was quick to respond and very nice. We would bring our own firm pillows next time.

Amazing stay

Really peaceful location, only a short drive to amenities. Beautiful scenery and everything you could need in the cabin. Melissa was really great when we needed help. We really enjoyed our stay and it made our holiday perfect.

Great stay, perfect amenities!

My husband and I stayed here on an impromptu cabin weekend and we loved it! The amenities at the cabin alone were enough to where we would've enjoyed just staying there the whole time. It was also near great hiking and local farms for a true smalltown mountain experience. Less than an hour from Asheville as well. Bed was comfy and clean. Only complaints were that we had to take the trash to a dump upon departure, which was closed on the holiday we left on so my husband had to find a random grocery store with unlocked dumpsters to leave it. I wish they had a large outdoor trash bin instead on the property. Not convenient when visiting for a holiday or you don't know the area. Also, the lighting was very dim inside at night.

Had a very nice hot tub. The entrance to the location has three very high speed bumps that are definitely not motorcycle friendly. We had to haul off our own trash the day we left. I definitely would not recommend using Premier Vacation Rentals.

Lovely cabin

This cabin is in a remote area giving you privacy and serene mountain feeling. The pond across the street was nice for our grandson to fish in. The hot tub is a blow up hot tub with no jets so it shouldn't even be listed on the listing as a "hot tub" because its just a blow up heated water little pool..... Other than that it is wonderful, the wood provided was plentiful even though we didn't use it. We would stay again!!

Perfect quiet mountain family retreat!

This cabin had everything we were looking for: outdoor area, fishing, hot tub, surrounded by nature, fire pit. It was very clean and the property manager was very prompt to respond. We LOVED Moonshine Manor.

Cute little cabin

This was a great cabin for our family. Positives were the location and decor. It had such charm. It had the basic things we needed, and provided a great layout. Negatives were lots on lady bugs inside the house which we didn’t love, and most of the blinds were knotted and hard to open. The front door is also very hard to shut completely. I did not like the fact I had to make the top bunk upon arrival even though it was stated there were 4 people. Overall we would recommend and it was a great trip.

Relaxation

Had a fantastic week at Oldja’s Moonshine. Though located in a community the layout of the property allows for plenty of solitude. Multiple areas are set up for gathering to visit including the pond and fire pit. AC kept the cabin very comfortable during above average temps. We will look forward to coming back even with the USF flag flying out front. GO UCF!!!

Good location

Good location - accessible, not hanging off the side of a cliff like many cabins in the area. Well maintained and very clean. It would be great to have electronic access and not require a 20 minute drive to get and then return the key.

Calm, beautiful, and rustic setting.

Great authentic feel of a cabin set in area surrounded by trees and hills. It was quiet and peaceful. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with cooking supplies. Indoor fireplace was a plus for those chilly nights! Only negative was having to take out trash to the local dump; you’d think the cleaning service fee would cover that. Would stay again!

Overall good experience

Last minute vacation before kids went back to school. Chose this cabin specifically for fishing pond and previous reviews on location. Cabin was a bit more “rustic” than pictures show. Overall vacation was relaxing and cabin provided what we needed. The location was spot on in regards to travel times when searching for hikes or other nearby towns. Flat level yard provided hours of enjoyment for my kids. The pup next door is also a sweetheart and likes to visit when you are fishing. Great time had by all! Do bring extras when choosing this cabin. Dish soap ,kitchen sponge, garbage bags, and laundry soaps as they do not supply any complimentary items.

Nice cabin in great location

We really liked location. Close to Asheville, Great Smoky Mountains National park, Bryson City with lots of activities. The house is kind of old but as shown in the pictures. Kitchen had all the utensils we needed. Kids liked the DVD collection. Didn’t like that the master bedroom doesn’t have place to put your clothes to and the hot tub is very small. The cleaning could be better too.
