Explore the clear waters of Little Hills lake while staying at the Lakefront Beach House! With over 50’ of private lakefront, you can relax on your very own beach in Wisconsin! Bring the family along to enjoy the many amenities we offer, such as kayaking, paddle boards, row boating, fishing and a paddle boat.
The main cottage can sleep up to 10 guests with two bedrooms and room in the living room for a queen air mattress. We offer a fully equipped kitchen, main floor full bath with attached washer and dryer. An open concept kitchen flows to an additional dining area, the living room and a beautiful screened in porch facing the lake. Enjoy your morning coffee on one of our 3 porches, all overlooking the lake.
Along with the above amenities mentioned, we offer a private pier, floating swim raft, a fire pit by the beach to enjoy those beautiful sunsets, Free Wireless Wi-Fi & smart TV that insludes YoutubeTV with options to access your own streaming platforms.
For an additional fee you can rent our smaller cottage that is just steps away from the main house. Great for large family vacations! This cottage also has a fully equipped kitchen, full bath, and TV (no internet, but a DVD player is provided). It comfortably sleeps 4 including a queen bed, with a smaller set of twin bunk beds. There are 2 additional cots in the attic for extra sleeping room. Message the owner if interested in our second cottage.

Vacation 2025

Our family enjoyed ourselves staying at the cabin and we also rented the additional smaller cabin. It was musty smelling but our kids were fine staying there. The beach area was amazing! Our grandsons loved the kayaks, paddle board, row boats. The lake was gorgeous and the views from the home were beautiful.

We (couple, 82 yo parent, and dog) enjoyed a positively lovely week at the Cottage House on Little Hills Lake. Woke up every morning to take advantage of cooler am temps and go on a beautiful 4-mile neighborhood walk. Then enjoyed coffee on the screen porch overlooking the lake. Each day we followed up with swimming in the super clean and clear lake, a little fishing from the dock and the floating dock, kayaking and paddling around the lake, an afternoon nap on the hammock, bocce on the beach at dusk, dinner on the screen porch followed by card games ... SO. MANY. CARD. GAMES. A storm that passed through to cool things off temporarily allowed us to enjoy one evening down at the firepit. Oh, and the view of the stars from the dock late at night is absolutely incredible. Just a short drive to get groceries or eat out on occasion (highly recommend KRB), so the cabin is not too remote. Only area for improvement would be a stronger internet/Wifi connection as the times we went in to cool off from the heat and watch sports, the TV constantly had to buffer. Still minor, but for someone who may need to work from their vacation, this may be frustrating. Overall, though, a great stay. Thank you!

Fun & Relaxing Lake Vacation

Children & Adults alike loved this cabin, lake and all it had to offer. Loved the sandy beach and the clean swimming! The owner was a great communicator and everything was as pictured & described. I have nothing bad to say about the whole experience!

Perfect "up north" vacation

This is about the 5th time we've stayed at this property. The main cabin is nicely sized with bunk beds in each bedroom. Kitchen is fully stocked, comfortable large sized sectional, and multiple dining tables. The screened in porch is the best! This lake is perfect for swimming - sandy bottom, very few weeds. This does mean it is not a great fishing lake if that is what you are looking for. We were able to tube around the lake, swim every day, take pontoon rides, use the firepit, and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. There are a lot of stairs down to the lake so you do get your daily exercise. Not necessarily a negative, but might not be good for anyone that struggles with stairs. Our favorite spots in Wautoma are Milty Wilty for ice cream, Christianos for pizza, and Candle Freak for shopping. We also love tubing down the Crystal River in Waupaca. Jake gave us all the info we needed prior to our stay. The cabin had all the amenities we needed We highly recommend renting this cabin!

Disappointed - be very careful

Property is not as represented. It is not 4 bedrooms it is two, it does not have a hot tub. The additional space available for rent, which we did, was so damp and musty no one could stay there. House was clean however it was very dark with only small, lamps for light. Pictures on sight make it appear MUCH brighter than it is. Furniture and beds are old and uncomfortable. Only plus was the outdoor space. Unfortunately we did not stay. Host and VRBO have done very little to reimburse us.

The Perfect Stay

This is our second stay at this cottage - another amazing week! Our kids enjoyed the sandy beach, swimming in the super clean lake, going for boat rides, and playing with all the toys. I appreciated the well stocked kitchen, cleanliness of the cottage, super fast responses from the owner, and my favorite, the peaceful views from the screened in porch. 10/10 experience and I look forward to staying here again.

The best lake house!

We love this lake house. We have 3 young kids and it’s great for them! The beach is great and the water is CLEAR! It’s so nice to be able to use the kayaks and paddle boat too!

Beautiful Lakehouse

It was the perfect set up for our family. The extra cottage provided additional sleeping space and close to the main house. The beachfront was amazing, the kayaks and paddle boards were a great amenity! It’s a beautiful place.

TRULY ENJOYABLE

Cottage was great. Clean and as pictured. Ample seating inside. Great views from picture window, porch and screened porch. Water was clear and clean. Swimming perfect as far as depth, etc with nice sandy beach. Swim raft and water toys were added bonuses, along with the fire pit. Quiet small lake, but in my opinion too small for use of pontoon. Stairs to lake a dreaded inconvenience, but spaced in such a way to make it manageable even for someone with minor challenges (age). I do have to comment tho that the extra small cottage does not share the 5 star rating as it was somewhat musty and the set-up and beds lacked the comfort factor.

Perfect Family Refresher

This was our 1st time using VRBO and we are hooked. This "Hills Lake House" was absolutely perfect! Perfect size for our family of 2 teenage boys and us. The cabin had everything we needed for a home away from home. The water amenities were excellent (only issue was the size of the life jackets but we made them work.) The view was SPECTACULAR. The side outside bar and the screened in porch made enjoying coffee and cocktails so much better. The location of this cabin to Wautoma's Yummy food selection and a very clean and friendly Piggly Wiggly and Kwik trip were perfect. We do hope to enjoy this property again. Loved it!!!!

Lake Home

Host is very responsive and friendly. The house is great with beautiful lake views. Everything you need is pretty much there! Beach area and pier are clean and relaxing. The enclosed screen porch is absolutely amazing!! The only downfall for older people and smaller kiddos is the steps going down to the lake. The owner is very clear about that though. I think it needs more lighting outside at night but this is really an amazing easy to get to rental!!!
