Relax and enjoy spectacular ocean views and sunsets from this newly remodeled 1 bedroom and 1 bath ocean front condo on the most desirable 3rd (top) floor, with high ceilings and abundant natural light, on the Monterey Bay; located between Santa Cruz and Monterey, California Central Coast. The beach is famous for beautiful and picture perfect sunsets. View dolphins, whales, sea otters, sea lions and ships/boats passing by from the living room or deck or beach. Steps away to get down to the sand/beach. On warm days, open the windows and patio doors for fresh cool ocean air and ocean sounds and have a wonderful sleep in the night. No one above this condo, no noise from above unlike 2nd and 1st floors condos. Enjoy morning sun with coffee and a glass of wine in the evening while watching sunset. Fully furnished, including linens. Departure cleaning only. Remodeled and newly listed in July 2022 with all brand new leather furniture, Cal King bed, flooring, carpet, brand new appliances, and plenty of can lighting and ceiling fans. Washer/dryer included. The condo rental is limited to 2 adult guests. Located in a security gated community with plenty of parking. Golf at world renowned courses 40 minutes to the South, shop at nearby Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel, or drive about an hour north to San Francisco for the day.

Easy Beach getaway

Enjoyed a weekend away at Pajaro Dunes. A beach resort tucked away on the coast. Quiet, beautiful beach, foggy and cool (typical weather for June) and a nice break from inland heat.

This property was exactly as advertised. Maybe not super easy to get too, but the owner's instructions were very detailed and we had no problem's finding it. It is a third floor location with 15 exterior steps, but this was well explained ahead of time so no surprises. Beach access is very close, and it was a nice, uncrowded stretch of sand on the Bay. The town of Watsonville is quite close, and access to Hwy 1 is very simple, if you're heading to either Santa Cruz or Monterey/Big Sur. The only glitch was an unexpected plumbing issue that we found in progress upon arrival, but the owner was very up front and reactive to the issue, and it didn't overly impact or put a damper on our time there. These things happen!

Comfy with great view

We had a great stay overall—beautiful view and the place was very clean. However, I was disappointed to find that the duvet and pillows didn’t seem to have been cleaned--ever. The duvet, in particular, was extremely dirty, which was a letdown after seeing how spotless the rest of the home was. Thankfully, I found clean blankets in the closet and used those instead. I’d strongly recommend the owner either replace the comforter with a washable one or ensure it’s laundered between guests. It’s a small change that would make a big difference.

Very good view from a well furnished and updated condo. Foggy nearly the entire stay, but had a very good time. Would stay in this unit again. FYI. Owner might want to check out a new kitchen sink faucet which is stuck on spray mode only.

Relaxing Stay

We enjoyed our stay! The view and sounds of the ocean were wonderful! The bed was very comfortable! I slept wonderfully with the sliding glass door open! The complex is quiet. Super easy access to the beach! Decor is a bit dated, but place was very clean which is super important to us!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. Nice and quiet with a beautiful view of the bay. We had nice long walks on the beach and found numerous sand dollars. Quick drive to Aptos/Santa Cruz and Monterey.

Above Expectation

Communication with host was top notch. So many nice touches to home. From the specialized lighting, auto fireplace down to shoe changing stool. Bed, pillows, blankets were so comfortable and inviting after day at beach. Place was spotless. Kitchen appliances were modern and kitchen well stocked. Nice to have choice of coffee pods or drip coffee maker. Did I say beach steps away! Even if you don’t want to go to beach, it’s covered with awesome views from living area and sounds of waves from patio. I will definitely be back!

Our Honeymoon Stay

Very clean and nice property. Perfect for our honeymoon as the location was quiet and peaceful. You can hear and see the ocean from the property. Pans, cutlery, coffee maker, and toaster allowed us to make a wonderful breakfast each morning. Wonderful stay and would definitely come again!

Lovely place with a great view

We wanted to stay at Pajaro dunes before both whale watching and going into the Elkhorn Slough (both trips out of Moss Landing.) Pajaro dunes is a great location for these activities. We’ve stayed at Pajaro dunes before and very much enjoyed it. This unit Was a pleasure to stay in. Everything is new. I love the sofa and we took advantage of watching a David Attenborough documentary about the sea while we were there. We also had a couple long walks on the beach. You can walk a very long distance with just you, the waves, and the sea birds. There are a few people from time to time. I highly recommend staying at this great place.

Amazing Stay!

Loved our stay at this property. Enjoyed sipping my morning coffee and watching the dolphins play in the ocean and gazing at the beautiful sunset over a glass of wine. We were feet from the ocean and took a beautiful 3 mile walk on beaches that aren’t crowded and it was lovely. The host was super awesome when it came to communication and was incredibly accommodating. The bed was so comfortable, and we felt right at home. The place was very clean and check in and check out, instructions we’re clear. Would love to come back for another visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!
