Summary:
3-Bedroom 3-Bath Townhouse Unit 4. Constructed in August of 2016, these townhouse style 3-bedroom, 3-bath units are tucked up against Watkins Glen State Park. Unit 4 sleeps 10 guests in queen beds made up with fresh linens for your arrival. The three full bathrooms, one on the first floor and two on the second, are stocked with clean towels and washcloths.

The living/dining area has comfortable seating, a flatscreen TV with a large cable channel selection and a dining table with seating for 6. The full kitchen has basic cookware, dishes, glasses and flatware. Easy check in with code for entry supplied prior to your arrival.

Located in a quiet, wooded area, Watkins Glen State Park is literally our back yard. It is a short walk to the main park entrance and the downtown area and less than a mile to Seneca Lake. Each suite is allowed to park 2 cars on the property, please plan ahead as any additional cars will need to utilize street parking downtown.

This property is entirely at the disposal of the guests.

The Neighborhood:
Watkins Glen has a little bit of everything: A beautiful state park, scenic lakes, wineries, a lovely downtown for shopping and dining, parks with playgrounds and swimming.

Getting Around:
Much of what Watkins Glen has to offer is within walking distance. Transportation within Watkins Glen State Park is available for a nominal fee, and arrangements can be made for transportation for wine tours and other events by visiting the Watkins Glen Chamber of Commerce website

Great House

The house was very clean and the perfect space for the 5 seniors that stayed there. The first-floor bedroom was great for my handicapped parents. The only problem was the driveway to enter the property. There were potholes and we had a trailer hitched to our car and unfortunately, that's where the trash cans were located.

Liked three bathrooms,. Location was great! Much potential but driveway was hazardous with deep pot holes at the end of the driveway. Found the carpeting and corners to be dirty. All appliances worked well. Plenty of paper products and dish detergent. Overall a good experience for the four women staying here.

Weekend Getaway

Rental was exactly as listed. We had 7 adults stay here and we all fit comfortably. In one bedroom, the heating/AC unit said E7 when we turned it on, but otherwise everything else looked and worked perfectly.

It was what I expected. Not perfect, but good. A few minor problems with the place but nothing that would ruin the trip. Some of these are being quite picky but here are the problems in my opinion 1. One shower had very low pressure. 2. At one one bathroom doorway, the carpet didn't meet the tile so you could step on the tack strip. 3. One shelf in the fridge was missing. 4. No ice cube trays.

Great location for Watkins Glen day trips we parked our car and walked right around the corner to Watkins Glen entrance and same for daily trips to downtown.

Hot water issue

Although the location is wonderful, the apt is suppose to fit 10 adults comfortably with 3 bathrooms. You would think you can at least have 2 people or more shower at one time. Nope.. after 2 hot showers the hot water goes in and out due to the small hot water tank. Mind you we only had 6 adults and 3 kids under 11. If you want to book this place you should stagger the showering schedule.

Our Group had a great time.

The house that we stayed in was just as pictured. There were are a few items that need to be addressed by the owners but over all we had a great time. Water stains from wall units and threshold plates as you enter the upstairs rest room. Nothing like have nails poke into your feet as you enter an leave the restroom.

The inside was clean and ready to go. The entry was another story.

The start was less than great. The door was blocked by a pile of snow, which we had to clear as best as we could with our hands and boots. The other units entryways were cleared. There was not a key in the entry box, but our contact handled that situation. We were able to stop and unload our food and clothes before continuing on with our adventures around noon, which is really a good thing. No problems with heat, water, TV, frig, or oven. Kitchen and bathroom supplies were good. Beds are very comfortable, so this is a big plus. This is our second stay at these units, and I will have no issue returning for another stay. We paid less per night than if we stayed at a hotel, and provides a better experience to spend time with our friends.This is a good deal, as far as we are concerned.

Good place to stay for events at WGI

A good place to stay. Clean and affordable. Nothing amazing but it's perfectly fine. Had an issue with the heaters and it was corrected right away.
