We so enjoyed our stay! This home gave us plenty space and for us to split of in separate rooms. The view from the family room is beautiful and from the pier is amazing! Great location allowing ease of travel So appreciate the property manager getting a gas grill and being so helpful when we needed our battery jumped

Excellent staging location for the activities we had planned to do…Williams Reindeer Farm, the Matanuska Glacier, and Hatcher Pass. Kitchen was well equipped with all the essentials. Use of the canoe was an added bonus.

Perfect Multi-family stay

We kept five hockey boys for the weekend to play state. The hosts was extremely accommodating and gracious. It was a perfect set up to host multiple teens in between their games and to ensure that they were sleeping.

Great place on Cottonwood Lake

We enjoyed our stay and the amenities. The view was amazing, the house was clean and secure, and the location was centrally located to everything we wanted to see and do. The property manager was helpful and in good communication whenever we had questions or concerns.

Plenty of bang for your buck

Amazing property on the lake with an amazing view. Highly recommend. It's crazy how much more bang you get for your buck in Wasilla vs. Anchorage.

Lovely and Comfortable Home

This is a great home away from home. The house is well equipped and the views are beautiful. There was plenty of room for everyone to have space to sleep and the family room and dining room were perfect for entertaining and enjoying a rainy day. The lake was nice, but Alaska lakes are really the kind you jump off the dock to going swimming.

This home was absolutely stunning! We watched moose walk across the frozen lake and small airplanes fly across the large class windows. The view of the mountains was mesmerizing! I would recommend this VRBO over & over!

Very accommodating

The property was very clean and had all the kitchen and laundry items we needed. Craig, the property mgr was very responsive We met the owner and he gave us some tips for fishing in the area. I highly recommend.

Great Alaskan Getaway

This recently renovated home boasts a gourmet kitchen and master suite with a spa-like bathroom. With a wraparound deck overlooking a lake backdropped by mountains, it's a perfect place for folks looking to experience interior Alaska. Wondeful view, Beautiful Kitchen, Great Deck

This gorgeous home accommodated our large family perfectly. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the items you need to cook meals that you can enjoy while you look out on the beautiful view of thw mountains and water. The loft upstairs was a good hang out area for the kids. We enjoyed the custom shower in the master bathroom. Quiet, peacful location, but still only a few minutes drive to stores, restaurants, etc. We would absolutely stay at this property again. One minor drawback was the comfort of the bed in the master bedroom.

Beautiful view

It was a great trip for the heart… gorgeous views and listening to the sea planes come and go on the lake. The home had all we needed, although a toaster oven would have been nice so we wouldn’t have to heat the home more in the summer while cooking (no air conditioner). The beds need a lot of help… squeaky adult mattresses, flimsy bunk bed, and kids mattresses on the floor in the loft ( which was understandable given the slope of the ceiling). For those of you traveling as couples, it may be helpful to know the layout is not ideal for privacy since the two adult bedrooms are back to back and even share a wall for the beds. For those of you traveling with kids or teens, the open loft would make a great little play room since it has a sofa, tv, and two twin mattresses.

Wasilla House

Very nice home!! Kept thinking the inside of the house was very nice, but the outside/front yard/back yard needed more attention, and the railings needed a paint job. The front door lock was not simple to figure out - took about 10 minutes to figure out the lock & door combination. First thought we had come to the wrong address! We soon texted the property manager about some window blinds that were broken and in need of repair. The windows were very nice, looking out to the backyard & lake front. But if we had wanted to use the window blinds in the main living room we would not have been able to, the blinds were inoperable, stuck in the "UP" position, the cords used to operate the blinds were broken and not even attached to the blinds. We could see outside the home but would not be able to block anyone's view of the inside of the home. When we arrived the garbage bin was full with at least three, maybe four, bags of trash. When we left on Thursday morning, we had taken the trash bin to the street, added our one bag of garbage to the side of the bin, and hoped the trash would get picked up. At least the cleaning crew was already outside the house when we left the house. Our stay was very nice and we highly recommend the house - we just hope the owner starts working on the yards.
