Luxuriously Restored Loft in Old Town Alexandria

Build a wood fire to stay cozy in this artfully converted warehouse, or sip a coffee alfresco on the rose lined patio. Exposed brick walls and bleached timber rafters are reminders of its 1818 vintage. High-end furnishings, designer lighting fixtures, and an updated kitchen provide modern luxuries.

This is a single family townhome that is set up exclusively for vacation rentals: Downstairs you will find the kitchen, living room (with pull-out sofa bed), dining area, and powder room. Upstairs you will find an additional sitting area with a sofa and TV, along with a king size bed, full bathroom and a guest closet.

It is designed to have all the amenities a guest would expect from a five star hotel, and then some. You will love the high ceilings, newly renovated kitchen and bathrooms, comfy king size bed, large screen Smart TV and thoughtful touches throughout.

The kitchen is stocked with flatware, dishes, cooking utensils and a Nespresso machine. You will find an ironing board, luggage rack and hanging space in the closet, and boutique bath amenities for your use.

This restored loft is in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, across the Potomac from Washington, D.C. The area is known for its rich history and architecture—an extraordinary backdrop for acclaimed restaurants, boutiques, and vibrant arts and culture.

This home is close to local bars and restaurants, which makes exploring Old Town extremely convenient, please just be aware that there can be noise on weekend evenings until local entertainment venues close.

The loft was perfect! Very clean, well appointed, in a great location, & stocked with everything we could need. It was easy to check in and the owner had great communication with us. He had lots of fun local recommendations and books about the area. Best of all, he let us bring our dog, who loved all the walks! Thanks for a wonderful time.

We appreciate the tremendous support from David and really enjoyed the wonderfully decorated and furnished apartment. It is located in a fantastic spot in Old Town and the optional parking space is very convenient. The details in the apartment were thoughtful and appreciated and we’ll certainly try to book again on another trip.

Yes David was welcoming, the unit was very pretty and had everything we needed. The location was good for walking to all the shops and restaurants in Old Town. Additionally it was walking distance to the King Street Metro. We stayed mostly local and chose to UBER when leaving the area.

Me and my wife stayed here for our anniversary and the place was beautiful with lots to do all around us! Everything is in a perfect amount of walking distance, and if we didn’t feel like going out the house itself was a wonderful place to be. David is fantastic. Extremely responsive and quick to address anything. The location off King St has all the vibrant city vibes and sounds. It’s an energetic area that offers so many food and bar options til very late hours. And, endless high quality shopping all day. Convenient to the Metro for access to all the historical DC hot spots in about 25-35 min. Scooters all over to help you cover lots of ground to the waterfront, quaint neighborhoods and parks. Whole Foods close by allows for some kitchen use for longer term stays.

Great house in a great location

This is the second time we have visited and stayed here, would not choose any other house in Alexandria. David is an excellent host, communication and helpfulness is excellent. House is clean and well equipped and is in a great location just steps away from King St. love staying here and hope to be back next year.

Decorated nicely, well stocked in all aspects. Very convenient to King Street, the main street for dining and shopping. Trolley running every 15 minutes the length of King Street was very nice!

Old Town Delight

This adaptive reuse property is a beautiful and creative space with charming details. I love the two story space with living and seating on the first and sleeping suite above. The interior design detailing is a treat. Please note the paint work in the bedroom area above the woodwork as well as on the exposed brick.There were small service items - robes, different coffee makers, a shopping or grocery cart by the fireplace (easy walk to Whole Foods.) These items showed a welcoming level of consideration.The location is great!

Great stay in Old Town

Property is extremely clean and very nicely appointed. Owner was extremely responsive. Location is good but it is very close to a busy intersection and bar. Can be very noisy especially on the first floor. Owner does provide sound machine and ear plugs. We had no issues sleeping. It’s much quieter on the second floor. Also the loft only has a mini fridge. With a full kitchen, a full size fridge would be nice. Overall a lovely unit in walking distance to everything!

Wonderful Property!

The property was very nice. We enjoyed the fireplace and very comfy bed. All the supplies and amenities were a great touch. The hustle and bustle of the neighborhood was a bit loud at times, but not unbearable.

Old Town Fun

What an amazing little place to stay while visiting Old Town Alexandria. Really well decorated and cozy with plenty of space for us to enjoy. Incredible location for walking around old town and seeing all the amazing sites! We will definitely be returning to this place in the future!

A Gift

#AlexandriaLoft was the perfect gift for our family to celebrated Thanksgiving! We typically stay at Hotel Indigo when we visit our son that lives in Alexandria. I wanted to have a "homey" Thanksgiving for him this year. Well, the loft was perfect. Everything was as described on the site. The location is perfect!! Unless our son took us out, we were able to walk King St to all the shops and restaurants we wanted. Let me just say, we found a hidden gem with the deli across the street from the loft called Stage Door Deli. I got coffee and bagels in the mornings and the Cuban one afternoon. David, the host, is amazing!!!!! He was very easy to communicate with and offered solutions. We. Will. Be. Back!!!!

Lovely property in convenient location

Beautiful decor with every attention to detail. David was quick to answer any questions that arose. Kitchen is a “mini kitchen” not practical for preparing major meals, but that was not an issue for us. Location is just off King Street so a quick walk to anything you want to visit!

Lovely home in a beautiful location

This isn’t a house, the way it has been presented, the decoration, amenities and warm welcome by the host makes it a home. Everything you need for a home from home has been provided from a yoga mat to a white noise machine. The location is ideal. A short walk to the metro takes you straight into Washington DC in 20 minutes. Just seconds from King Street with all the shops, bars and restaurants. Beautifully presented house, clean, spacious and secure. Looking forward to going back next year.

Lovely Home!

This is a gorgeous and beautifully decorated loft home in a perfect location for exploring Old Town and DC. The king bed was so cozy and sheets buttery soft. Our host David was extremely responsive to every question we had, and made sure we had every possible thing we needed. The home is equipped with a very full kitchen, three different ways to make coffee, and every imaginable utensil. We’d definitely stay here again!!
