Deceptive Description
The place was really clean and the host was polite. However, there is no kitchen at this property. Even though a kitchen is not explicitly advertised, it is implied (dining area) the living room is not private, everything is connected. There is a small dorm fridge, no utensils, sink, hand soap or coffee cups. There is a small keurig but you have to get water from the bathroom.This is a basement, not a separate bottom unit. The only thing separating you from the owner upstairs is a door at the top steps. The place was freezing as the temperature must be controlled by the owner. We decided to leave the next day and book a hotel downtown. This area is in an unsafe part of town off MLK. Our Uber driver told us not to go out at night. I did communicate with the owner before posting this review but they only agreed to a partial refund.There is a neighbor right next door with a barking dog and who’s conversation was very loud as she chose to do her conversing right beside our door. I would not stay here again
