The quiet of the mountains settles in as evening falls, the air crisp and clean after a day outdoors. Snow-laced trees frame the view beyond the windows, and inside, the glow of the fireplace invites you to slow down, kick off your boots, and ease into the rhythm of a winter escape in Vermont’s Mad River Valley.

This entire condo sits within the Summit Complex at Sugarbush Resort, offering a comfortable home base for cold-weather adventures and relaxed nights in. Just a short drive from Sugarbush Lincoln Peak and steps from the free Mad River Valley shuttle, the location makes it easy to reach the slopes, nearby villages, and scenic roads without fuss.

Living spaces
After a day on the mountain, gather in the family room where the indoor fireplace anchors the space and creates a natural spot to unwind. A TV, books, and board games offer easy entertainment, while large windows bring in mountain light and seasonal views. Heating throughout the condo keeps things comfortable during winter stays, and the quiet setting encourages restful evenings.

Kitchen and dining
The kitchen provides a dedicated space for preparing meals at your own pace, whether that’s a hearty breakfast before skiing or a relaxed dinner back at home. A dining table nearby makes it easy to linger over meals, share stories from the day, or plan tomorrow’s outing.

Sleeping arrangements
The condo spans two levels and is designed to sleep up to eight guests across three bedrooms. Upstairs, one bedroom features a queen bed, while the bunk room includes twin-over-twin bunks, well suited for a mix of adults and kids. On the lower level, a second queen bedroom offers added privacy. All bedrooms include bed linens and room-darkening shades to support a good night’s rest.

Bathrooms and laundry
Two bathrooms serve the space, including a bathtub for unwinding at the end of the day. Bathroom essentials are provided, along with the convenience of an in-unit washer and dryer for longer stays or snowy gear.

We love the Sugarbush area and this condo did not disappoint. Great lay-out. Only negative was microwave wasn’t working.

Nice and well equipped but needs updating

The property would be great if updated. The process with turning on the power to the water heater and turning on the water and all the heat then having to do that all again 2 days later is a task. In two rooms the thermostat is well above our heads. The check out is 10am but the notes say do not leave dishes clean in the dishwasher and we had to shut off the water so having to run the dishwasher and empty (hour cycle) before 10am made us feel very rushed. The shower situation is bad. Both shower handles feel ready to go and are very volatile to the point we really struggled to get the water to be hot without burning and it you moved a millimeter the water would be freezing. One of the showers the water faucet doesn’t even fit the pipe and there is a 1 inch gap between the faucet and the shower. The place was clean but because of the age of the flooring and carpet it didn’t feel clean enough walk on. The place was well equipped but one TV is a smart TV so the upstairs one is really only for DVDs. We have stayed up in this area every year and this place was much more difficult. I do think if the owners put some funds back into updating and repairing it, it would be a great spot to rent. Also recommend a later check out time if the desire is to have the renter run and empty the dishwasher before vacating. All other places we have rented don’t make you turn off the water and ask you to run the dishwasher before leaving.

There were mice, we saw at least one running around in the living room and then the kitchen. There was mouse droppings in the pans below the stove. Also the Washing machine did not work.

Great getaway in Sugar Bush

Property was clean, spacious for our group and easy to navigate. It was nice that there are two floors, each with its own bath and sitting room / hangout space. Love the spacious mudroom/entry for all our gear! Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. What a beautiful area and a convenient place to stay.

Cozy and great location

Proximity to the mountain is great. Check in was easy and management was responsive. The place is cozy and well-appointed, though the furniture is showing its age a little and the beds weren't the best. Overall, very nice stay, though.

Ski Haven Condo

We received an email telling us that we could check in around 2:00 PM, but when we arrived shortly before 4:00 someone was there still putting out fresh towels. The dish washer is not correctly installed and would roll out slightly from under the counter when we opened it. Winter advisory: the ice on the steps was more than scary, and had to be navigated with caution. Overall, we had a very nice stay. The online pictures and description of the unit are accurate. There were 6 adults in our group. There was plenty of room for all, and the downstairs living area offers a comfortable place to gather.We were a 5 minute drive from the base of Sugarbush, and a 15 minute drive from cross country skiing.

Nice place, needs a few tweaks

This was a nice condo with an upstairs, downstairs and plenty of space to hang out while at home. The PROS were: 1) attractively and fully furnished in all rooms 2) fully stocked with all kitchen supplies, blankets, sheets, pillows, closets to hang you close. The CONS were: 1) humid inside and very musty smell throughout the house (we were there in August) 2) leaky toilet (water trailing on the bathroom floor 3) no air conditioner (we were uncomfortably warm and humid in the house, uncomfortable to sleep) 3) The top lock (when outside the house) was very difficult to open every time we were coming home.

Comfortable Mountain Condo

This is a spacious and well equipped condo next to the slopes at Sugarbush. The condo was comfortable for a family of 3 and could easily host more people. We would visit again!

Lovely and Cozy

We were 2 families of 4 and had a wonderful time. Just enough space for our group with a well equipped kitchen, nice sized dining table and a bunk room for the kids. Proximity to ski area and snowshoe trails was wonderful. Great view too!
