This Mountainside Condo is a quiet, top-floor unit with vaulted ceilings located in the quaint "historic village" of Sugarbush Resort; a 2-minute walk to ski trails and a 5-minute walk to the base lodge. The convenient ski locker is at the building entrance. Within mere steps are restaurants (Mutha Stuffers, Chez Henri French restaurant, A La Carte, and The Reks bar), Mountainside Ski Shop, day care/school, and heated summer pool (as seen from balcony). The main level has a relaxing balcony with spectacular views spanning the mountain and the Mad River Valley. See the Valley House Quad, Super Bravo, Heaven’s Gate, and Village Quad lifts spinning and watch skiers on Stein's Run, Murphy's Glades, Spring Fling, and Lower Snowball. Vaulted living room has gas fireplace, comfy furnishings, updated decor which is changed to reflect season and is perfect for viewing the torchlight parade and fireworks during holiday weeks. Dining area has a custom-crafted banquette, the bathrooms are renovated and plush spa towels are provided. Bedrooms boast luxurious king mattresses (read the reviews about these!), luxurious winter bedding which is changed to crisp non-ski-season bedding. Kitchen is original but updated and more fully equipped than most, with newer appliances, including 5-burner range, microwave, quiet dishwasher, toaster oven, toaster, blender, crock-pot, cookware & bakeware. First level has a full bath with shower/tub combo and a king bedroom. 2nd floor has another king bedroom with vaulted ceilings, en suite full bath with shower/tub combo, 3 large upper clerestory windows for sleeping under the moonlight, and a reading nook. Ski to the Village Quad lift via the "Out Road" trail or get to the base lodge via a 5 minute walk over the covered bridge or take the shuttle. Ski back on the "Out-to-Lunch" or "Easy Rider" and "In Road" trails that lead skiers to just below this unit's balcony.
If you're looking for more activities, it's a 5 minute walk to the Sugarbush Health & Rec Center, or peruse antique & local artisan shops, then sample the cuisine at the many restaurants in Warren and Waitsfield. Tour a brewery, distillery, glass gallery, Museum of Industrial Design, or Ben & Jerry's. In summer, enjoy hiking, disc-golf on the mountain, mountain biking, golf, soaring in a glider, river tubing, kayaking, zip-lining, or swimming at this condo's outdoor heated pool or the local swimming holes.

Our host was very fast to respond to our questions and was very helpful. This is a great location and is just a short walk to the main area. The condo is well appointed with a kitchen that is well stocked for those of us who like to cook at home. Our bed was very comfortable and we slept well.There are not many options for going out and you need to check on when they are open.

We had an incredible time at this condo! We rented our skis at the shop downstairs. The walk to the lifts was less than 5 minutes and we were able to ski right back up to the condo. It was very thoughtfully furnished and had everything we needed. The view from the living room window faces the mountain and we enjoyed watching cardinals in the trees from the balcony. Great location only a 10-minute drive from the town and the Reks just next-door is a fantastic spot to grab dinner and a local beer.

Fantastic view and beds; nice to sit by fireplace and watch the groomers on the mountain. There is a great ski shop in the basement of the building and a bar (Reks) and a lovely restaurant (Chez Henri) a one minute walk away. Loved it!

We had a great trip to Sugarbush, thrilled to have excellent snow and NO lines! The condo is conveniently located with the ski in/ski out at the top of the parking lot. Gail was great and very communicative throughout. We would absolutely recommend this gem as well as stay there again if possible. In addition, livee music at the Mad River Barn was a good time with good food,not to be missed. Thank you, Gail, for sharing your spot and making our trip so easy!

We had a delightful Sugarbush skiing getaway at Gail's condo! The location was ideal, allowing us ski on/off access to the slopes and an easy walk to the resort restaurants and facilities in the evenings. The kitchen is very well stocked for homecooked meals, and the livingroom with fireplace and view of the mountain is just delightful in the evenings.

The property has a great view of the Sugarbush slopes and at night you can watch the snowcats grooming. Just a short ski or walk to the slopes.

Wonderful home so close to the mountain

Excellent condo near daycare center

We had two kids in ski school and one in daycare - this house was perfect for us. Everything exactly as described. Be sure to buy you lift tickets at the start of the season - same day rates are very expensive! If you want to use the outdoor ski locker be sure to bring a padlock. This condo is exactly what you are looking for!

Relaxing & Cozy

We had a great long ski weekend. The unit was exactly as pictured, and very relaxing, clean, and stocked with necessities. The location was fantastic to ski in/out, walk to the base, or watch the snow fall by the fire from the balcony doors. Ski all day, relax all night, it was a wonderful unit and vacation. We will visit again.
