  • Welcome to Brook Haven Retreat! We are situated directly on Wardsboro Brook, just minutes away from the best skiing and riding in the Southern Vermont. Skiing, hiking, biking, fishing and relaxation abound! The property features a private fenced yard and deck to take in all the beauty alongside the brook. The home is fully updated with modern conveniences including three sleeping areas, living room, and a fully stocked kitchen. We love and allow well-behaved furry friends in our home!

    **BATHROOM**

    You'll find a clean and well stocked bathroom on the main floor of our house. It has bright lights, tall ceilings and a large mirror. Our shower is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your group's needs. The bathroom is equipped with a washer and dryer as well.

    **KITCHEN & LIVING ROOM**

    Prepare a quick snack or a large feast in the fully-stocked kitchen. It features beautiful live edge countertops and modern appliances, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker (both drip coffee and K-cups). There are four stools at the large center island for seating. The open-plan setting offers an unobstructed view across both the living and dining areas.
    You will find a beautifully decorated living room to meet the needs of your artistic eye with a modern yet elegantly bold and easy concept. There is even a full size Ridge Racer Arcade game to entertain both adults and kids. You can also get cozy and enjoy the electric fireplace while watching a movie on our Roku Smart TV. This is a great place to spend time as a group to enjoy, to work from, watch tv, or plan the excursions for the day!

    Our home has a beautiful fully fenced back yard and outdoor shower along the river bank. The yard is complete with a deck, grill, and firepit. Lounge in the Adirondack chairs and relax with the subtle sounds of the flowing brook nearby or enjoy great conversation and cocktails by the cozy firepit.

Cabin was very cute! Very clean and cozy. Heater warmed up straight away, kitchen was spacious, and beds were comfortable. They even had bowls for the dog! Loved the loft bed and the fenced-in yard too.

We had an awesome time here. The property was well stocked with essentials, affordable us some opportunity to unwind, explore the creek, and hang out with the fire pit, board games, and the kids enjoyed the ridge racer arcade. Would absolutely come back!

Cozy cabin by the river!

We loved our stay at Brook Haven! We enjoyed grilling out, sitting by the fire, and exploring the river. All the little touches made the experience magical. Thank you for creating this oasis!

Great location!

We had a great time at the Brook Haven Retreat! It was cozy, clean and decorated beautifully! The location was perfect for skiing and the fenced in back yard was perfect for our fur babies. Highly recommend!

I stayed with my 2 grown children and our dog. The home is just as shown and well equipped. Loved the loft and all of the kitchen accessories. Fabulous place.

Riverfront escape

Beautiful home with fenced in yard that helped you forget you were roadside to a busy road. Yard was perfect to unwind and e jiy a campfire, or a walk in the shallow river behind the house. The amenities were great, and the washer/dryer inside the home helped during the stay. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay within 10 minutes of Mt Snow

Awesome cabin

Cabin was well thought out, super clean and a functional space. Close to Mt snow and Stratton. The only negatives was it is close to the road and driveway was muddy. We would definitely stay there again.

Amazing cabin in the mountains

My family had a great long weekend at this cabin. It is newly renovated and the layout is perfect for a family or small group to stay in comfort. There are individual heaters for each bedroom so people can stay comfortable no matter how cold outside, and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything you might need. Communication with the owners was excellent. We enjoyed the location as well. It's beautiful being next to a small river and an easy drive to hiking and several ski resorts. This is a great place--we highly recommend it and hope to be back soon!

Perfect quiet VT weekend

Stayed here for my husband’s birthday weekend with our two dogs. Place was immaculate and had everything we needed! The fenced yard is such a plus for our pups. Location is great, the backyard basically has a small river and you can hear it all day and night, super relaxing. Very cool features in the cabin, lots of games and puzzles to keep us entertained as well. The grill and the fire pit was perfect. Overall an amazing time. And the owners communicated very promptly when we had any questions. Definitely recommend! Thank you for such a great stay!!

Perfect for Mt. Snow

Anthony and Haleigh are incredibly easy to work with and very fast communicators. The cabin was very clean, and exactly as advertised. We stayed here to ski at Mt. Snow. A short, picturesque ride through the mountains to Mt. Snow, and at the end of the day, you don't have to go through traffic heading towards Mt. Snow businesses to get home. My 10 year old son and his friend loved the loft, with views of the river, and my 13 year old daughter loved having her own room. We cooked breakfast and dinner easily and were overall very comfortable and satisfied. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The house was perfect for our family weekend get away. It was clean and provided wonderful entertainment for us all. Very close to skiing and restaurants. Definitely would stay here again.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the cabin! It snowed a lot while we were there and they did a great job plowing. Communication with Anthony was great as well. The fenced in yard was especially nice with the dogs. We would definitely stay again.
