"We stayed in a family room. It was very spacious, clean and comfy. The Inn is not far from Kendal cbd (less than 10 min drive). The hotel does do dinner, it is a little pricey tho. The included breakfast was quite good (cereals and full english breakie style included in our stay). "

"A lovely old world pub, the highest in Britain. Lovely ambience, cosy bar areas and nice rooms. Just a few scruffy areas like the carpet going up to the accommodation and the ceiling and floor of the bathroom sliding door area. However it is understandable with being a busy pub with people with work boots and walking boots constantly in and out. The food was good, with lots of choice and well cooked. "A very warm welcome on arrival it had a friendly feel about it. Our room was spotless with mixture of modern and old, plenty of refreshment choices also fabulous shower gel and shampoo provided. Breakfast was included and didn’t disappoint well worth adding when booking. Great location for the nature of our visit and as it is pet friendly we will be bringing our dog next time "
