2 King bedrooms - or swap one bedroom REQUESTING 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE for 2 King Singles . All have Dreamfoam mattresses, 2 heated bathrooms, air conditioning, luscious sofas and handpicked art.

The lounge is large and flows out on to a deck with seating for 6-8 people, a BBQ, plenty of sun and mountain views.

There are 2 bedrooms - each with a King bed. If you would prefer to have three seperate beds one of the King bedrooms can be swapped out for a smaller room with two king single beds. Please ask for this ahed of time.

Each bed has a gorgeous solid oak bed frame, duck down + goose down duvets to keep you toasty warm, premium linen, and Serenity mattresses (with Active Sense pocket springs to minimise partner disturbance, and Dreamfoam for unrivalled comfort). Each room has cupboard storage. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with a shower; the main bathroom has a shower and a bathtub to soak achey muscles in. Both bathrooms have underfloor heating, heated towel rails and wall mounted heaters.

There is a laundry with washing machine + dryer.

The open plan kitchen has a 5 burner gas hob and an oven, a fridge and microwave, toaster and kettle, and pots, pans and utensils.

Heat pump/airconditioner in the lounge for cooling and heating, a gas fireplace, and individual heaters and retro blue fans in each room.

Please note access is via the entrance staircase.

Guests have the full use of this space including the garage downstairs with internal access to the house.

Guests are also able to access Alpine Resort Wānaka's resort facilities on the same grounds - 2 x spa pools, 2 x swimming pools (heated in summer, can be used as a cold plunge pool in winter), a tennis court (equipment can be borrowed from the resort), 2 x gyms with weight machines, free weights and stationary bike, sauna, pool table, table tennis, table football. Bikes are available to rent from reception.

Contact us via the Airbnb message app. We don't live in Wānaka, however Lucy who co-hosts lives locally. Lucy organises the cleaning and can sometimes assist if you have an unexpected issue with the property.

The units are a 20min walk into the main town centre. Nearby shops include Freshlink Grocer, 82 Anderson Rd, and b.social Taproom and Eatery, 60 Anderson Rd.

The artwork in the lounge is by Hana Carpenter (a graduate of Elam and a Wallace awards finalist; her works represent ambiguous organic structures and the vulnerability she felt while in hospital with her son) and from Carmi Louw. The artwork in the bedrooms is by local Wānaka artist Sierra Roberts (a finalist in the prestigious biennial Adam's Portrait Award; 'Rosa' is part of her Frida series, celebrating the harsh honesty of the female experience) and by Himali McInnes.
