We really enjoyed our stay. The country setting was perfect for our getaway. The rooms were spacious and great for gathering together. The fireplace is a nice addition but we didn't need it. We would definitely stay here again.

The farm house was beautiful. Very spacious for our family. We also enjoyed being outside sitting on the patio. Couldn’t have had a better view. Our host was very kind and there if we needed anything. This spot is great for a family gathering and would highly recommend.

The farmhouse iwas super spacious, quiet and cozy! John was friendly and happy to share information about anything to do with Wolfville! He is a very attentive host. Thanks John for making our visit to Wolfville a great one!

It was very hot upstairs so maybe keeping the air conditioning running prior to guests arrival and turning on ceiling fans would be a help. We didn’t realize the lack of privacy with the two openings to the down stairs from two of the bedrooms prior to booking. The outside sitting area was gorgeously tiled but wasn’t swept or washed down. This is a wonderful selling point- just a tip for future!

Farm house stay

Located in a beautiful setting. Close to highway for travel. Lots of space to spread out in the house. Great fireplace to warm up to.

Pet friendly on the main floor; property is an old working farmhouse with modern amenities. In-floor heating in some rooms with a heat pump, cozy fireplace in one upstairs bedroom and a small wood stove downstairs. Two of the three bedrooms have balconies overlooking part of parlour so limited privacy. Very friendly owner and his pets!

Loved the wood burning fireplace & that John had it burning upon our arrival & again when we returned later from our curling game! Historic home with a very unique layout & narrow steps & areas with unlevel flooring, so walk attentively. Be prepared for a sulphur smell in the water. the smaller bedroom is fully enclosed with a door & separate heat source. As noted, the other 2 larger bedrooms are open to the downstairs area so less private & heat rises up from the sources of heat on the main floor. Kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. Some areas could use a deeper cleaning.All in all, it met our needs for a 2-night stay for our ladies curling team.

It was very helpful for us that this place was pet friendly. Unfortunately, when we first entered the property, there was a very strong chemical odor. We think this was something like a Febreze product. The more we were there, the more there seemed to be a strong cigarette smoke smell throughout the property. My son’s girlfriend actually thought she might be having quite a severe asthma attack because of it. The location is absolutely stunning and it is very close to Wolfville so those are the pluses for sure!
