**NEW** Walhalla Barnwood Cabin

Walhalla Barnwood Cabin is a 2 bed, 1 bath cabin recently renovated with blends of different 100 year old barnwood throughout. The rustic barnwood themed cabin has that cozy cabin feel including woodstove, while having all the modern amenities of home including full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, central heat, air conditioning, washer/dryer, cable tv with 60" flatscreen and available wifi.
Barnwood cabin is a studio style theme with 2 queen size beds, pool table, and shuffleboard game. Large bar area with seating for up to 6, great for games etc.
Kitchen is fully equipped with pots and pans, dishes, bowls, utensils, blender, toaster, crock pot, etc.

The cabin is conveniently located off US10, between Ludington and Baldwin. Just a mile from the Pere Marquette River, and 20,000 acres of Manistee National Forest public lands.
Guests are required to bring their paper products(tp and paper towel), and linens for the queen beds. Pillows, comforters, and blankets are provided.
Located 15 miles east of Ludington, and 10 miles west of Baldwin, offers thousands of acres of public land for hunting, dirt biking, ATV, hiking, and snowmobiling. The Big 'O' Cycle and Cross Country Cycle trail is 1/4 mile from cabin and can be accessed from the cabin. The Pere Marquette River, one of Michigan's top producers of rainbow, brown, brook, steelhead trout, Chinook and Coho salmon is only a mile away with multiple bridges nearby. The beautiful Ludington beaches, on the shores of Lake Michigan, are a mere 20 minutes away. Along with Little River Casino just 30 minutes away.

Absolutely love the property. Been there twice now and have had a great time. We fish all day and play pool all night and do it all the next day. Branch grocery is right down the road and has phenomenal pizza. If your an outdoorsman this is your spot.

Not knowing the area, we were a little surprised to find the cabin on a busy street and were worried our hopes of a getaway “in the woods” were dashed. However, the hosts have done a fantastic job of making the cabin feel secluded, rustic, and a lovely little haven. There was plenty to do inside, and they provided a ton of information about the surrounding area. They were helpful, fair, and kind. We loved the cabin and will be back!

Cabin is awesome, perfect for weekend getaway to fish the Pere Marquette or go hunting. Dollar general is Nextdoor which is nice because you'll need toilet paper and paper towel . Property overall from someone who travels the world gets 5 stars for simple fact that it's basically a small house, with an open concept that includes a pool table. Was clean and cozy . Gas heat or wood stove .

Good size parking area. Cabin was fully furnished for a comfortable stay. All lights working, great shower for fast hot water, refrigerator makes ice was nice option. Definitely going to book again.

Property was in very good condition. Owner communication was easy and quick. Water pressure in shower great and temperature warmed promptly. Pool table in great condition. Fun feature to have. Beds were very comfy. Good sized kitchen area with full size appliances and well stocked with cooking / eating supplies. The cabin was very tidy and smelled and looked clean. Adequate parking for multiple vehicles on the property. Very quiet location other than just a little road noise. Will choose this property again when in the area. I considered it a nice affordable option ! Thanks Walhalla

Check-in and check-out were super easy, which made the whole experience smooth from start to finish. The cabin was exactly as described and offered great value for its location near Ludington. While it was a bit noisy due to its proximity to a curve in the highway, the hosts did a great job trying to mitigate the sound with white noise machines and fans. Overall, a solid stay with thoughtful touches from the hosts.

Perfect for us

We needed an inexpensive place to stay at night while visiting relatives nearby. This cabin was just what we wanted. The only negative comment I have is that the traffic noise on the highway can be a bit loud, but if you are a sound sleeper like I am, you won't have an issue with it.
