Beach House Getaway, a pasos de la playa

Al final de un callejón sin salida, descubrirá nuestra tranquila casa. Hay mucha luz natural en esta casa con los grandes ventanales y el tragaluz. Hay vistas parciales al mar desde la casa y la terraza delantera con la playa a pocos pasos de distancia (2 minutos). Millas y millas de playa están allí para la exploración y es fácil caminar hasta la pintoresca ciudad de Waldport o Patterson Beach State Park al lado.

La casa cuenta con un dormitorio principal con una cama king size y baño principal con bañera y ducha. El segundo dormitorio tiene una cama king size. El tercer dormitorio tiene una cama nido (para 2). Hay una gran sala de estar con sofá (para 2 personas), sillones reclinables, centro de entretenimiento de televisión con televisión por cable y DVD. Todas las habitaciones cuentan con televisión por cable. Comedor abierto con cocina isleña y despensa. Baño completo fuera de lavadero y hall.
En el exterior hay una gran cubierta trasera cubierta y cubierta frontal abierta.

La ubicación es tan conveniente como en la costa de Oregon. Waldport está a solo unos minutos y cuenta con restaurantes, supermercados, etc. Waldport es el hogar de la Bahía de Alsea, donde hay cangrejos de dungeness de clase mundial y pesca de salmón. Waldport tiene el campo de golf Crestview de 9 hoyos a menos de 1/4 de milla de nuestra casa. Los lugares de interés costeros como Seal Rock, Devil's Churn, Cooks 'Chasm, Spouting Horn y Cape Perpetua están a menos de 16 km. Hacia el norte, 16 millas es Newport, donde puede visitar el Acuario de la Costa de Oregón, el Centro de Ciencias Marinas de Hatfield, la Cervecería Rogue y el histórico Waterfront de Newport.

Our 4 night stay

Excellent beds,lots of room for our teenaged daughters, very nice layout. Very ,very quiet neighborhood.We felt at home immediately.The little trail was just perfect for a peaceful early morning walk at the beach.!!!

Comfortable bright beach home. Very well supplied. Short drive/walk to miles of sandy beach. Reasonable driving distances to several quaint beach towns. Nice westside deck for evening/sunset viewing. Sunny eastside covered deck for enjoying your morning libations. Yes, we will be back to this home away from home beach house.

Lovely house with ocean views

We stayed here for a few days in July and had a lovely time. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. You can see the ocean from the living room, and there is a nice back porch. The neighborhood was quite, and you couldn't hear any road noise. You can walk to the beach through the neighborhood, but it's quite a steep drop to the first step on the makeshift stairs once you reach the beach. If you have mobility concerns, you can also access the beach from the Governor Patterson Memorial State Recreation Site, which has an entrance the next street down.

Home away from home.

We enjoyed our stay! Having a beach access and views of the ocean from the living room was high on our list. It did not disappoint. It was a quite street. The beds were comfortable. The location was excellent for exporting both North and South on the coast. We did a fishing trip with Trade Winds out of Newport and had a great experience.

Our third stay at this property

We have stayed here 3 years in a row. It feels like home. The house has all the amenities anyone needs for a wonderful vacation. We love it. We are booked for next year. Don't hesitate, if your family likes a beach vacation, you can do no better than this cozy home away from home.

Definitely needs some maintenance

Overall, the place is comfortable and well-stocked. The beach access is nice and neighborhood is quiet. There is definitely wear and tear showing in the house. We noticed that the front door is very sticky to open during the day, but at night it was next to impossible to get the door open. I literally had to have my husband help open the door. If there were ever a fire there, this is going to be a death trap. The master shower was not draining at all, and my husband ended up fishing a disgusting, smelly glob of hair out of the drain the size of a muskrat. I took a picture of it, but I can't insert a pic here. One of the sinks in the master didn't drain either. You'd think the cleaning people would notice and address that. The towels all smelled musty and like they'd be left to sit and stew in the washer for too long. Ick. Like I said, this place was OK, but not great. We wouldn't stay here again.

The perfect place for us!

Everything was as described except the walk to the beach isn't 5 minutes--more like one minute! The walk itself is pleasant as well. The beach is great, the house is great, the back yard has bunnies and hummingbirds all around. The house itself is roomy and supplied with everything you need. And Waldport is close to other popular places like Newport, Depot Bay, and Yachats. I like that it is a smaller town than the others places, but it also has plenty of great stores and things to browse. My whole family loved it!

Perfect home away from home

This was the perfect place for our spring break vacation. Lots of little things just incase you forgot them. Tons of puzzles and games for those rainy days. The extras in the shed were awesome, we hoped to try out the kites but weather didn't co-operate. Super easy access to the beach! My girls 2 and 6 were super excited about all of the VHS movies and watched many of them while relaxing in bed after a busy day at the beach.

One of two locations we utilized for base camps while visiting Oregon coast. It proved to be a wonderful experience. This rental has everything you need for meal preparations etc. Very comfortable also, including chairs and beds.
