Ground-Level Gem with Ocean Views and Beach Access

Hono Kai A6 is a ground-floor, 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo that is just a few short steps from the pool and close to the ocean. Unit A6 can accommodate up to 4 guests. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed. As you step into the living room you'll find a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area for additional guests. The bathroom is located next to the front door and features a bathtub/shower combo and single-vanity sink.

This home stays cool with 1 window A/C located between the main living area and the bedroom, as well as ceiling fans and tile flooring. There are sliding doors to separate the living room and bedroom for added privacy. Cook meals in-house with the fully equipped and remodeled kitchen.

Hono Kai is a beachfront property where you can enjoy a 6-mile stretch of beach with views of Haleakala and Kaho'olawe, an oceanfront pool, and BQQ areas. Additionally, there is a coin-operated laundry facility for your convenience. Hono Kai is located at Ma'alaea Bay near many attractions, shops, and restaurants. Walk to the Aquarium, enjoy exciting activities from the nearby harbor, play miniature golf and more at Maui Golf & Sports Park, or shop at the Maui Harbor Shops. Ma'alaea is located in central Maui, bringing you closer to either side of the island. There are no resort or parking fees.

Wonderfull beachfront property with a pool. Large beachpark less than a 3 mnute walk away. Centrally located with access to multiple cuties with about a 15 minute drive.

This place is awesome. Maalaea is our favorite place to stay on Maui, despite the high winds. The only reason for the 4 star (it’s too bad that 4.5 is not an option) review is because we had 3 people and the person sleeping on the couch had a hard time sleeping. There is a light outside of the condo that shined through the kitchen that lit up the entire living room. Perhaps a dark shade to pull at night would be a great idea. The other problem is that the pool fence obstructs the ocean view, which we solved by sitting outside. Overall, it’s a great place.

The property is very dated. If you are looking for a clean, convenient place to stay this is great. If you expect a high end experience, this is not it. The parking is awful.

Perfect location for all we wanted to do

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family of 4. Location is central to everything we wanted to do. So great to just walk out on the beach. Quiet area. Right next to the harbor where the snorkling boats leave. Had everything we needed.

Literally steps away.

I enjoyed being so close to the ocean. Being 74 I didn't try to get on the beach as it was quite a step. I truly enjoyed my stay watching the waves and surfers.

This place was awesome

First floor condo, less than 50' from ocean . You can hear the waves breaking. Saw whales and turtles from beach. Near the end of the road quiet area short drive from airport. Walk to marina for snorkel and whale watching trips and restaurants. Parking spaces are really really small rent a compact. Bbq grill washing machine dryer on property. I would stay here again!

My stay at Hono Kai A6

Enjoyed my stay. Condo was on first floor, by the pool and view of ocean. Very comfortable. Appreciated the supplies provided such as dishes, silverware, pots and pans. Paper towels, dishwasher pods. Pay laundry across the hallway. Very clean. Lanai very comfortable to sit and enjoy. When I first checked in, took a few hours for Wi-Fi to appear as a selection. Very good communication prior to trip.

Convenient Maui Location

This older property is right on the bay and steps from the beach. Our unit was clean and well equipped. It was nice to have beach chairs, cooler pack, and beach towels provided. Also is was centrally located between Wailea area and Lahaina and airport area.

Cozy Condo on the Water
