Air-Conditioning is optional. We understand that there a lot of you out there who prefer the wonderful Hawaiian breezes and since all of the rooms have doors and ceiling fans you shouldn't have to absorb that cost. If you would like to add it please let us know, its nominal and very easy to do.

WAIKOLOA VACATION RENTAL WITH YOUR OWN PRIVATE HEATED POOL!

Avoid the crowded, noisy, shared wall and amenities world of staying in a condo and rent your own resort.

4 bedroom 2 bath home with views of Kohala, Mauna Kea and the Pacific Ocean. Huge private yard with beautifully maintained mature landscaping and HEATED PRIVATE POOL. Each room has its own entrance through French Doors which lead to the upper or lower Lanai. Gourmet kitchen with contemporary stainless appliances. 10 minutes down to the beach and less than 5 minutes to golf, supermarket and restaurants.
Relax on the one of the two Lanai's and enjoy an evening drink or BBQ with friends and family.
The downstairs master bedroom has a king bed, slate tile floors, a custom oversized slate tile shower, french doors and ceiling fan. The double closet has plenty of shelving and storage for all of your belongings.
There are 3 bedrooms upstairs...all of which have queen beds, ceiling fans, hanging closets and French Doors leading to another huge Lanai. The property comfortably sleeps 8 but can accommodate 10 for an additional $25/nt per person.
The day room has a convertable futon, more French Doors, ceiling fans and a second flat screen tv with a dvd player. It's a great room to let the kids watch a movie in the evening while the adults entertain downstairs. We also supply Igloo/coolers, beach chairs, beach towels, and snorkel gear and beach toys.
Views in all directions make this a very special property. Please don't forget to check out our reviews, you won't be disappointed.

You will see bugs in Hawaii and it has nothing to do with cleanliness, just island living. We spray the property regularly to help keep them

Disappointed. We rented this home for four days. Unfortunately, two of those days were affected by a very loud siren or beeping sound that could be heard blasting throughout the neighborhood. We’re not sure what caused it, but listening to a loud beep every few seconds really affects you after a few hours. We booked this property with a few friends, and there were a few surprises we hadn’t expected. The listing shows air conditioning in the photos, but we learned there was an additional charge to use it after our deposit was paid. This was inconvenient since we had already finalized our group budget. They put a pad lock on the electric meter. The only way to stay cool was by keeping the doors and windows open. Most of the bedrooms are upstairs, which made them quite warm, but with the siren noise, we couldn’t comfortably leave the windows open. We reached out to ask if the air conditioning could be turned on, but unfortunately didn’t receive a response.The listing notes that the home sleeps ten, but there are extra fees per person as well.

A Perfect Stay in Waikoloa Village – We Might Just Move Here!

My wife and I wanted to bring our whole Ohana to paradise—four adult couples and our grandson—and this home was the perfect place to do it. I've always thought about moving to Maui, but after staying here, I might have to rethink that! The Big Island is incredible, and Waikoloa Village has a special charm of its own.Because of the time change, we took early morning walks through the neighborhood and immediately noticed the welcoming, community feel. Neighbors were out on their front porches, "talking story," which made us feel right at home. One of the most unexpected and delightful surprises was a flock of free-range turkeys that wandered into the front yard!The house itself was fantastic—well-appointed with thoughtful touches like laundry facilities, an ironing board, and even coffee, filters, and creamer stocked for us. Having access to the pool was a huge plus, and the ping-pong table in the garage was a fun bonus. Andy, our host, was outstanding—checking in via email to ensure our stay was perfect.We will absolutely stay here again… unless we end up becoming neighbors!

Wonderful vacation

My three sisters and I spent 8 nights at this wonderful property. The kitchen is well stocked and the house had everything we needed. The backyard is fabulous – very private and beautiful. We enjoyed the large patio and sitting around the pool. There was plenty of lawn furniture and tons of beach gear available to use. The neighborhood is nice and was very quiet. The upstairs did get a bit warm in the late afternoon but cooled off nicely after opening the windows and turning on the ceiling fans. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. Would highly recommend!

Great place for families

Our family of 5 enjoyed staying at this lovely home from start to finish. The host was very kind, accommodating, and communicative. Check in/out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The home was clean and comfortable with plenty of bed linens, bath towels, and beach towels. The kitchen was nicely stocked with plenty of kitchen pieces and appliances for preparing and eating meals. The upstairs and downstairs living areas allowed our three rambunctious boys to spread out. There were some kids toys and books available that our 5 year old enjoyed. All household appliances worked well, including each AC unit in the bedrooms that we opted in to use. WiFi also worked well, so our oldest could easily connect to Google Classroom account to keep up with school assignments. TV had cable and DVD player with collection of nice movies (one rainy night after dinner we watched Indiana Jones on DVD as a family). No streaming available on TVs but that didn’t bother us…we were too busy doing other things, like enjoying the pool or going on outings, to really watch a lot of TV. The heated pool was nicely kept, and the backyard is surrounded by full foliage (including a lemon tree with huge lemons) that gave the feel of a private oasis. The garage was nicely stocked with beach gear that we found useful on our outings(beach chairs, beach umbrella, cooler, boogie boards). Neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. Definitely recommend this vacation home!

A great stay, highly recommend

First, he property is just as shown in the pictures if not better. The house was perfect for our family (2 + 3 teenagers), each kid had their own room upstairs, and we had the master downstairs. The patio and swimming pool are great. The kids loved it and could spend all day just there. The house is stacked with kitched items for every need. Moreover, it has all the beach and snorkeling gear you may need, and many to choose from. The ping pong table was a nice surprise and we loved it. Andy is great to communicate with and always responses quickly. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. There is a bug supermarket less than a mile away, and a dew food options. We loved every moment and would definitly come back!

We enjoyed the house

This house has plenty of room inside and outside. We had 9 people in our group and there was enough room to get together and enough room to have space when we needed. The pool is nice even though we didn’t use it much. The yard is private and nice. Sunset views are beautiful and everything we wanted to do was within a reasonable distance. The only negative thing I would mention: I asked the owner about air conditioning because it is listed as an amenity and the response was that it would cost extra. I thought that was rather petty especially considering the cost of the rental.

We LOVED this house

This was such a great house for our family. You can’t beat the backyard and the pool. Our kids range from 8-20 and we had two extras with us and the house accommodated our needs so well. It was quiet, off the beaten path yet still close to the beach and a local grocery store. If you are not staying at a resort, the reality is you are always driving somewhere on the island to get places. We loved staying away from the hustle and bustle and the yard felt so nice and private. We ate our meals outside and enjoyed a quick dip in the pool every morning and evening. Our kids thought this place was amazing. The house was well stocked with beach things (snorkel gear, cooler, chairs, umbrellas etc.) and we took full advantage. Kitchen was also well stocked for our needs. While our kids are a little older, we have traveled with our kids when they were very young and this place was also clearly prepared for younger families if needed (pack and play, high chair, toys etc). I would highly recommend!

Fab family reunion

Andrew's house is great for a relaxing family vacation. We had 4 adults and two teens, and really enjoyed the private backyard, grill and gorgeous swimming pool. A rental car is of course essential -- Waikoloa Village does feel a bit remote. But there is a very convenient grocery store close by, and the teens were huge fans of the shave ice at the resort down the hill. Enjoyed evening cocktails on the lanai and watched the sunset. Highly recommend this rental!

Amazing home in paradise!

From the moment I booked this home it was a excellent experience. Andrew is an amazing owner/host and is so easy to work with. He answered all of our questions so quickly and exudes the aloha spirit. The home is truly beautiful and wonderful. It has everything you need to experience Hawaii for whatever you and your family might want to do. The extras like snorkel gear and boogy boards was so fun for our grandkids. The home is well kept and well appointed. It was a great family home with a super fun pool!! Great base of opportunity

The residence was the perfect size for our family. There were more than enough amenities (televisions, snorkel gear, towels etc...). We visited the entire Island and coming back to the residence was easy because of it's location.

I'm from Kona and return with my family frequently. We tried staying somewhere different this time (instead of in town) and found this place in Waikoloa. The location was convenient for us to access Kona and Waimea to see family and to get the kids down to the beach (when they weren't in the pool). The nice surprise with this house was how well equipped it was - kitchen stuff, snorkeling gear, beach towels, etc., etc. We usually find that our rentals have the bare minimum or are missing fairly essential items. This one was great and we'd recommend it for families or groups of friends. Mahalo Nui.

Perfect for a large family

We had a group with grandparents, adult children, spouses and grandchildren including a school age child, toddler and infant. This was a perfect place to stay together and venture out for adventures and beach days. It was nice to come back in the afternoons for relaxation, naps and pool play. Quiet neighborhood, not far to beaches and restaurants. Beautiful sunsets enjoyed from the lanai. Room for everyone to have space and enjoy meals together. Lots of equipment to borrow for the beach and ocean fun. Washer and dryer and bbq were greatly appreciated. We loved our experience and time here.

Beautiful!

This home is beautiful. It is big enough to spread out in, you can watch the wild turkeys, and it is in a good place to reach many of the other places you may want to go on the island. It is not in a big city which is nice. We took day trips out to other places, and my dad was very happy to cook in the well-equipped kitchen. It has everything you could possibly need to have a really good vacation on the big island. We were happy to not be in a hotel — this home was clean, and we felt more protected from COVID concerns. I would recommend this home to anyone, easily. It was a beautiful place to spend a couple of weeks in paradise.

Great stay

Property was even nicer than described, and the pool is heated. Andy was extremely responsive to all my questions and even put up a Christmas tree for us since we were there over the holiday. With a view of the ocean from the upstairs patio, and the mountains all around it was exactly what we wanted for this trip. Will definitely come again and very much enjoyed being back in Waikoloa Village on this trip.

Family vacation

This house was perfect for our family. It was well stocked with supplies and if you ran out there is KTA market nearby. The house was very clean and the backyard is immaculate. We all loved the pool. Quiet neighborhood and strong breeze that you won’t need air conditioning. The owner, Andy, was very helpful with our questions. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to this beautiful island.
