Luxury Apartment on the Waterfront

  • Pio Road Apartment is a modern 2 Bedroom apartment situated in the Waihi Beach community. The apartment enjoys stunning waterfront views across the Anthenree Harbour. It is 104 square meters with large glass sliding walls opening out to the deck from the living area, extending the space even further in the summer months.

    The apartment is beautifully furnished with high quality furnishings. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Both bathrooms feature wet area showers, toilets and vanities. A third shower is also available outside the apartment for cleaning off after the beach.

    The living room and 1 of the upstairs bedrooms is equipped with My Sky boxes with all sky services available.

    The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you are likely to need along with a dishwasher and large fridge. A coffee maker and a stove top espresso maker are available for those of you who like starting the day with a good coffee. A variety of teas and coffees are provided for you to enjoy.

    All lighting throughout the property is automatic and will turn on and off as you enter and exit the rooms. Heating is all underfloor and the control panels are throughout the apartment to operate this.

    High quality bed linen is provided and beds will be made up prior to your arrival. There are guests towels provided for use in the apartment. You will need to bring your own beach towels.

    There is a fully equipped laundry with a washer/dryer.

    The boatclub restaurant is a 2 minute walk down the road and can be seen from the balcony. There are many cafes in the town centre but by far and away is the most delightful restaurant The Falls Retreat in the Karangahake Gorge, where you can enjoy a very special setting and a beautiful meal. This is my personal favorite and is a not to be missed if you are from out of town. Waihi Beach shops are a 5 minute drive away where you will find beautiful boutiques and lots of cafe choices.

    Throughout the year windsurfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, kite surfing along with many more outdoor water pursuits can be viewed from the deck or for the more adventurous, can be participated in. The beach is a short 2 minute walk across the road behind the apartment. The area is perfect for walking and bike riding. 5 minutes down the road is beautiful Anzac Bay. A great place to go for picnics, swimming and a walk up to the lookout.

    The Karangahake Gorge is a 20 minute drive away, where there are many opportunities to walk or bike through old tunnels and discover a mixture of gold mining history and natural beauty.

from the entry to leaving , this place was beautifully decorated, well set out, 2 very comfortable beds, warm, when we walked in, there was a milk in the fridge, Bottle of wine with yummy crackers, to go with yummy cheese in the fridge, the cupboards are stocked with all the teas we loved, tv is in every room, the only thing we struggled with was the stairs, stairs to the apartment and then up to the bedrooms, but we are old and knees are not the best, the view, just beautiful, all the little extras, gorgeous cutlery, every detail was chosen carefully, bathrooms were great, i can not fault this place in any way, if we ever needed to go down again, we would absolutely stay there, the sun streamed in and warmed it up, 5 out of 5 for everything,

We had such a lovely stay, the apartment was spotless and easy to find. Lots of special touches with bottle of bubbly, cheese and crackers on arrival. Lovely soaps and cleansing packs for the ladies.

Was very nice, clean, and organized. Looked exactly like the pictures! We had a nice stay and Jillian was very communicative. Only small note is that it was pretty warm in the apartment.

This is a beautiful home with a responsive and friendly host. Upon arrival we were greeted with a bottle of wine and some cheese which was a lovely surprise. The home is filled with everything you need for great stay and it very much matches the luxurious description. The host is generous in what she provides to make the stay more comfortable-kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, herbs,spices, condiments to season dinners, muesli for breakfast. The view the home provides is gorgeous. We would come back and stay here again as a family, no problem!

The property is lovely - beautifully decorated with everything you need for a weekend of relaxing with food, drinks and conversation as a focus. Beds are fantastic and the showers are great! Easy access to a lovely beach, ideal for a long morning or evening walk. Such an ideal spot — you’ll see us again, I’m sure.

Fabulous Stay

Great location and views of the harbour. Extremely clean, great facilities and full kitchen amenities with a few extras on arrival. Hot pools, restaurants , cafes all within 6-8 minutes by car. Definitely recommend.

Beautifully positioned apartment with views over the inlet. Cooking facilities included everything you could possibly think of. Made for a lovely restful holiday.
