"Very basic and comfortable place to rest. This motel is on a very busy and loud(SUVs and motorcycles) corner at the gateway to the American River Rec. area. It is a very short stroll to Auburn historic downtown with pubs and excellent restaurants. It was Uber clean with a great shower. Somewhat worn but, again, location was excellent and wonderful helpful staff. Would definitely stay again."

But it was a comfortable bed and very nice desk staff I would honestly go to another place for the same price in the area and have breakfast because the breakfast was nonexistent and very disappointing. "The front desk gal was amazing! The lobby and corridors were clean and tidy. The room had coffee spills on the walls, broken glass windows, and a torn window screen. The bathroom had a horribly strong smell of cigarettes that would not dissipate despite the bathroom fan left to run continuously, and a used plunger was placed directly on the floor with dried bits of toilet tissue and other things stuck to it. The pool was lovely, but piles of cigarette butts on the surrounding pool deck."
