Right across the street from the Ocean.
Watch the sunrise over the ocean from your front deck.... The white sandy beach is right across the street. You can’t get much closer to that clear green water and fine white sand than this property. Walk a block on the picturesque ocean road that fronts our house to the market and get breakfast biscuits and the morning paper. Take your dog on a walk and your kids to the beach with lifeguards on duty. Or find a more a more private spot right in front. Splash around in the big pool ( it is Not heated) and relax after in the HOT TUB and in the loungers. At sunset , grill on the front deck with a view of the ocean or check out the sunset from the back deck as your family hangs out in the pool or game room below.
Cook dinner in the spacious and bright kitchen and enjoy ocean views from the main living salon with high ceilings and bright summer colors.
Sleep in comfy beds and comforters after a long day of beaching, boating, golfing, playing, sunbathing and above all relaxing at the beach. and if you feel like eating out you can walk a block to a restaurant and sports bar without ever getting in your car!!


Leather sectional with 3 power recliners!! we painted the entire interior in bright summer colors. In 2015 we renovated the kitchen with a new floor, granite countertops and refinished cabinets. New cookware. Landscaping around the pool.

Sandbridge is a quiet little beach neighborhood several miles south of the Virginia Beach strip just to the north of the North Carolina line. Sandbridge is sometimes referred to as 'the Outer Banks of Virginia'.
The game room is a detached garage that has been converted to its own space with a ping pong table, full size refrigerator , bunk beds, and flat screen Smart TV. Bring your XBox or video games and hook up to the TV.

Ample parking! We widened the original driveway to accommodate more vehicles. Since there is no on street parking this has really made parking easier.




We are only one block from the public beach where lifeguards are on duty in the summer months. If you have small children this is a big plus. The street in front is generally for local traffic and has very little traffic, even in the peak of summer. Beach access is right across this sleepy little road.

You can walk down this little street about a block or so to the local market for morning coffee, fresh doughnuts and the newspaper. You can watch the sunrise from the front deck while the others sleep and look forward to another sunny day at the beach. In the evenings, some of our guests like to enjoy cocktails on the front deck looking out over the ocean.



There are other restaurants a few minutes drive away. "The Baja" rocks with live music most nights in the summertime.

Back Bay Wildlife Refuge is just a few minutes south and you sometimes see wild horses and pigs and other wildlife year-round.

If you want to cook there is a fully stocked kitchen, gas grills on the front deck with ocean views and one on the back deck too ,and large areas for dining either inside or on the front or back decks.

Hell's Point Golf Course is about 5 minutes up the road and is consistently ranked in the top 100 of all public courses in the country. Tennis courts and playgrounds and a fishing pier are another 5 minutes in the other direction.


... If you want more action you are only a few minutes drive to great shopping, restaurants, the nightlife of the resort strip of Virginia Beach or another hour or so to Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and Water Country.
