Sandbridge Beach Bay Getaway

This unique place has a style all its own with the beach around the corner and bay water surrounding the property. The cozy newly remodeled ground level apartment is located just 0.3 mile (5 minute walk) to the beach. Full of natural light; private entrance sliding glass doors open to quaint porch to relax with a morning cup of coffee or cold drink after a day at the beach. You will get the best of Sandbridge with this location; quiet neighborhood Back Bay side and easy walk to beach. Location is absolutely the best of both worlds!
Enjoy the friendly neighborhood, beautiful clean beach, and numerous outdoor activities. Take a scenic stroll from the apartment surrounded by water to enjoy the magnificent sunset over the back bay water and grasslands, all while taking in the surrounding sounds of nature.
While the entire apartment is private with private courtyard, private deck, private entrance and not a shared space; our family lives in the house attached and upstairs. We have teenagers and medium sized friendly dog, Lucy. Guests will likely hear footsteps above/stairs and traffic in/out of the house. Lucy enjoys barking to greet anyone passing by or coming to our front door.
Outdoor guest space includes a private wrap around patio with chairs and grill. The canal access and dock is available for guest use. Please bring your own water toys or you may rent SUP, kayaks at Surf Adventure. They will deliver and pick up if arranged ahead of time.
The Pool is not included in the apartment reservation. Pool and Pool Grounds may be booked separately with a daily resort fee.
Sandbridge offers numerous recreational opportunities itself and is located close to the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge and False Cape State Park for nature lovers. High season months offer bingo at the fire station, coffee shop, karaoke, live bands and local vendor market shopping at The Baja. A few restaurants, two ice cream shops, small market for groceries and fresh bakery are available in Sandbridge for your convenience. Endless dining options are available just a short drive away in greater Virginia Beach.

My daughter and I had such a wonderful stay! The space was spotless, peaceful and perfectly sized for 2. The short walk to the beach was incredible convenient and easy. Excellent place for vacation. I had my daughter with me and we loved our own private space, excellent beach access and even better accommodations from our hosts Jules and Scott. Communication was excellent on their part and they were so nice to myself and daughter. I would say they were always going an extra mile for us to make our stay feel very welcoming. Accommodating hosts-cute apartment

Jules and Scott were excellent hosts - checking if we needed anything and being very responsive. The smart tv was a nice amenity allowing easy access to our Netflix account. A short 2 block walk to a lovely beach. Bikes and chairs were provided it unfortunately it was way too hot to spend much time outdoors. This would be a great stay any time of year.

It was a great pleasure to have the lovely cottage style vacation spot! Nicely decorated, Fully equipped with everything you ever would need.Clean, comfortable and relaxing. Absolutely loved Sandbridge Beach and this property. Beaches just a short walk in a nice upscale neighborhood. Small grocery nearby but a quick drive to Food Lion and others and tons of restaurants. Property has a well equipped kitchen, good comfy bed, and lovely furnishings. Can hear a few footsteps upstairs but nothing loud. Owners were excellent communicators. Ants a bit of an issue but we were just careful not to leave spills or crumbs. Loved our stay and highly recommend.

On the canal

This first floor apartment in a large house was clean, nicely decorated and clutter-free. There was plenty of space for a couple. Bikes and beach chairs are provided. We enjoyed the canal location, as we brought our kayak and launched it there, with access to Back Bay marshes and watereays. Many eagles!

My partner and I stayed for one night during 4th of July weekend. The host was super accommodating and always answered my messages in a timely manner. We wanted to hang out at the beach prior to checking in and the host very kindly let us park on the property! She also let us stay parked after checking out so we could again enjoy the beach. The neighborhood is beautiful and beachy! The walk to the beach was short and the community was so kind and welcoming. The property is surrounded by water (maybe a sound? Not sure exactly what kind of water) and there is access to paddle board or kayak if the sandy beach isn’t your thing. The property is attached to the main home and you can hear the host/family walking around above you so if you’re looking for a more private stay, this may not be for you!

Peaceful Beach Getaway

The setting is so beautiful with the bay view & lush greenery.What a perfect place to unwind & recharge. The minute I walked in through the sliding glass doors...I knew this was a step above the rest. It was so clean & tastefully deacorated. I immediately felt welcomed & relaxed. There is nothing left out..& so many extras...Filtered water in the fridge, ( no plastic bottles! Yay!) ..Short walk to the beach, (the neighborhood is so lovely that the few minutes is enjoyable) The beach is Private...cars can't park nearby so I practically had the beach all to myself. I used the recommendation for the Surf shop kayak tour & had a great time. I like my privacy..I never saw or heard the host's family at all. However, whenever I had a question I received an immediate response. Oh...there was even a light in the closet! I'm definitely planning to go back. Everything here was top notch. Best Air B&B I've ever been to.

Comfy Beach Access

The room was very comfortable, with full bathroom, kitchen, couch/TV area, closet and a bedroom. Beach towels and bikes are provided, and it is a 5-minute walk to Sandbridge Beach. Compared to Virginia Beach, Ocean City and other locations, this is a quiet neighborhood with less crowded beaches. It was a great rental for our anniversary, and gave us quiet beach time and easy 10-minute drive access to excellent restaurants and full grocery stores. Highly recommend!

I have stayed in many VRBOs. I have to say this was one of my top five Jules and Scott were the best host you could ask for always checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. I felt very secure as I was traveling by myself. I definitely will be back.
