Wild Horse Hideout/Private Pool Country Living

  • Wild Horse Hideout is an authentic ranch house where you can make yourself at home, just minutes from historic Route 66. With four bedrooms and two and a half baths. Each bedroom includes a flat screen television. Wi-Fi streaming is included. Bedroom One is a King bed with a private bathroom including a stand-up shower and large walk-in closet. Bedroom two has an authentic cowhide decor with a Queen bed. Bedroom three is a Queen bed, half private bath and a crib set up and ready. The fourth bedroom has bunk beds with a twin on top and full-on bottom, child table and chairs along with puzzles, toys and color books included in this room. A large game room complete with piano, pool table and ping pong table is ideal for evenings of family entertainment. Board and card games are on the shelves for families to enjoy. The seasonal pool with the large deck will allow you to sit and take in the amazing sunsets while watching the wild horses graze in the adjoining pasture. Enjoy a game of horseshoes or cornhole in the large fenced in yard. Hot tub is now up and available or you might enjoy sitting around the firepit and take in the sounds of the cows mooing or the frogs crooking or enjoy the stars. Relax and enjoy the serenity of God's amazing work. You can even try out front porch sitting while enjoying a cup of coffee, Keurig or coffee pot is both available and we do have a nice supply of coffee available for you. Six miles on blacktop road into the town of Vinita to shop, wide variety of antique stores or boutiques, or have a relaxing meal at any of the variety of restaurants or there is a full kitchen with all appliances. Ask us about farm fresh eggs or home-grown beef availability. Grand lake is only 25 miles away and we do have boat access parking.for our guest.

Overall a great place to get away and relax. We selected this place for a mom’s weekend and couldn’t have asked for anything better. We loved the horses, chickens, cows and the friendly neighbor kitten that adopted us. The memories and laughter we shared will be remembered!

We enjoy country life over city so watching the horses, cows, and chickens made us feel at home. The pool was clean as well as the hot tub. This house has lots of room and all the bedrooms are spread out. TVs throughout the home are very nice when you are rained in. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We will return.

Wildhorse

This is a fabulous place. Lots of room. Pool is awesome. It’s quiet and the views of the sunset are amazing. Will be staying there again.

Amazing

The place and location is amazing! As long as you don’t mind a few bugs here and there (you are in the country) everything you need to have a relaxing time is at your disposal. It’s one of those places where the stars are a little more visible and air a little more breathable.

Fantastic Hideout

Host is so accommodating! Goes above and beyond to make your stay pleasurable and restful. Very clean and comfortable. Kids loved the pool. Enjoyed the peaceful nights on the porch. Cant wait to stay there the next time we are in the area!

Getaway

We just stayed here for the weekend and absolutely fell in love with this place! The hot tub was relaxing n amazing, the fire pit was so cozy and perfect for roasting marshmallows, and the boys had a blast collecting eggs for breakfast. There were plenty of games to play inside, the decorations were beautiful for Easter, and the view from anywhere outside was just stunning. Not to mention, the beds were super comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plus washer n dryer.

Relaxing Birthday Getaway

We had a wonderful weekend at Wild Horse Hideout! We celebrated birthdays and enjoyed relaxing together. We were able to have our own space and gather in the common areas to eat, play cards, crochet and quilt. Thank you!

Absolutely Wonderful!

Debbie was absolutely amazing. We went for my daughter’s 5th birthday and everything was perfect! A few decorations were put up with a nice treat and surprise for us as well! The view of the property was beautiful! We will definitely stay again! Debbie went above and beyond and we were extremely happy with our stay!

Beautiful property

My family really enjoyed our stay. We loved the pool and game room. We were disappointed that the hot tub wasnt working and was dirty, but luckily the pool was nice. There was a little bit of a wasp and mouse problem. I know its in the country and cant control some things but still a menace.Overall

Great Experience

Debbie is a great communicator and was very easy to work with. You can tell she enjoys being a host - PLENTY of dishes/pots/pans and nice touches throughout. We had a family gathering and everyone loved seeing the cattle, horses, and chickens. We found it best to go into Vinita and approach from the high school rather than using the back roads from US 60. We'll definitely stay here again!

Solitude in the Country

What a wonderful retreat from the busy everyday life! A typical house out in the country, but just minutes from town. It felt like staying in a friend's house for a few days. This big house had everything needed in the kitchen to make a meal, plus some nice perks and goodies left by the hostess. Enjoyed the morning sunrises from the comfort of the private hot tub or big pool, hearing the birds, and even an occasional horse whinny off in the distance. It was serenity! The hostess was attentive and prompt with communication and you can tell she enjoys hosting others and making their vacations perfect. Highly recommend!

So relaxing

My kids grew up on acreage and we have in the last few years moved into town. Coming out here, my kids were the most relaxed I have seen them in years. The house is huge! does not look like that from the outside but it is a veritable labyrinth inside (just like our house in the country). The kids really loved the ping pong table and played ping pong for hours and hours. The fire[pit was great and we looked out and had smores. I would highly recommend this place and would stay there again without reservation.

Good and bad but mostly great county place

There were pros and cons. The property was much bigger then I expected. Probably could have slept 15 people or more if you wanted. 3 out of 4 bedrooms were great. 1 we did not use because we found bugs in it. ( not bed bugs think they were terminates or flying nats. Host stripped bed and said they just sprayed. Plus we were in country.) Master bed was super comfortable. Host was super responsive and helpful and nice. Property is beautiful and very dog friendly with gated porch and yard with dog house. You can see cows and horses from property. Chickens and coop in backyard with fresh eggs available. Fresh cookies made for us and snacks when we arrived 😋 Only sad part for us was pool was dirty and not ready due to rain they got. I booked months in advance and specifically searched for place for pool. I found out too late to get a refund or find somewhere else with a pool open. 😞 I think she tried to get it ready. The hot tub was open, but kind of run down. Several jets were not working or not working right and lid was very hard to open and close. I say that, but my young kids still enjoyed it. Also hot water was not working correctly, so no hot showers. Having washer and dryer were great. Game room in garage was warm, but very spacious. My kids enjoyed darts and playing pool. Tvs in every room Plenty of towels provided. Overall, we enjoyed it.
