"We only ended up staying at MacArthur Place for 30 minutes before immediately checking out and finding an alternate hotel to stay the weekend. Why the 5-star review, then? It's all in how they handled it, which to me is the mark of a great hotel. We're in peak wedding season in the Bay Area, and as such, many couples have chosen MacArthur Place for their ceremonies and receptions. Why wouldn't they -- a beautiful property right in the heart of Sonoma? The problem was with our room steps away...
