Located in the charming village of Villeneuve-Minervois, 20 minutes from the city of Carcassonne, in the heart of the truffle-growing region of Cathar Country, this vacation rental is housed in a fully renovated former barn. It opens onto a quiet alleyway and overlooks the river. At the back, a walled patio offers a private outdoor space to relax, completely secluded from neighbors. Shops and restaurants are available in the village. Lively and welcoming markets, along with local winemakers, wineries, and vineyards, invite you to sample excellent Minervois wines. Numerous hiking trails in the area: the Clamoux Gorges, the castles of Lastours, the Limousis Caves, the giant Cabrespine chasm… A lake with supervised swimming is 15 km away, and a water sports center is 10 km away. The cottage is spread over two levels and is accessible via a quiet alley. First floor: a very large enclosed garage with space to park two vehicles and store equipment (bicycles, etc.).
