In the heart of the Pyrénées-Orientales, Villelongue dels Monts offers a privileged setting for discovering a region where nature is omnipresent. The nearby Albères massif marks the meeting point of the mountains and the sea, providing ideal terrain for hiking or mountain biking, with panoramic views of the Roussillon plain and Mount Canigou. From the gîte, you can set off directly on foot onto the trails, a simple invitation to disconnect. Heritage enthusiasts can visit the Santa Maria del Vilar priory or stroll through the narrow streets of Laroque-des-Albères. A short drive away, the Catalan coast reveals its beaches, notably at Argelès-sur-Mer, while Collioure charms with its colorful port, royal castle, and artistic atmosphere. Further inland, Céret asserts its Catalan identity with its market and modern art museum. Finally, the proximity of Spain allows for wonderful day trips to Catalonia. L'Essence des Albères is a semi-detached cottage, located near the owners' residence in a peaceful and relaxing setting. It is designed to accommodate two people. You will find a living area combining the lounge and dining space, with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen. The kitchen includes a two-burner induction hob, a kettle, a toaster, and a filter coffee maker. A shower room with WC completes this level. • Bedroom: one bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200 cm). Outside, you can enjoy a beautifully landscaped shared garden, perfect for relaxation, as well as a private terrace equipped with a barbecue for al fresco dining and a pétanque court shared with the other accommodations for friendly gatherings. Two guest rooms and a second cottage are also located on the property. The heated communal pool and spa, open from May 1st to October 31st, are accessible from 10 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 7 pm. An air-conditioned gym is also available.
