Home built at the "Water's Edge". Luxurious Delaware Bay Beach Front designed with Shore Elegance. Private heated* in-ground salt water pool and paver patio. Sleeps up to 12 in comfort will all linens provided at no additional cost. Decks galore all with breathtaking waterfront and UNFORGETTABLE SUNSET VIEWS!!!. Gourmet kitchen, granite with state of the art stainless steel appliances. Four bedrooms (two king suites with private master deck, one queen suite with private deck). A kids "dorm" with two doubles & 2 twin beds which includes a full bath. Den with wet bar off the screened porch and overlooking the pool. Great over sized outdoor hot/cold shower. Off street parking for four vehicles. Exterior security cameras present at front door, driveway and pool area for our guests safety.
*Heated pool optional $250per week, available May through October each year.

John and Lynn’s house is beautiful and the location was amazing! Literally steps to the beach! The salt water pool was so refreshing! The AC broke before we got there but John phoned to let me know and we survived the July heat until it was fixed a couple days later but John made sure we were cool! We will be back! Great hosts and amazing house!

What a great place for a family getaway!

Between the ocean and backyard, swimming pool, the grandkids had a fabulous time. Our hosts were available when needed and steered us to the best restaurants in seafood markets during our stay. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Water’s Edge

This is a superb property in a perfect location on Delaware Bay. If you don’t feel like going in the bay, there is a wonderful heated pool in a private setting. There are 4 spacious bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The modern kitchen is a great place to entertain many guests. An outdoor balcony attached to the master bedroom provides a perfect vista point to the sunsets. The owners are wonderful people who will accommodate you in every way. The location is perfect as it is 15 minutes to Wildwood, Cape May.

Family Vacation

The property was very clean and very well appointed. The layout for the family was perfect. The proximity to beach with small children was also very helpful. We had a great stay. John and Lynn were great to work with on all levels. The only downside was there is no grass out front. It has been changed to hardscape.

Wonderful Property

The house is beautiful, and the views are amazing. The property owner is in contact right from the start to make sure everything is perfect. Unfortunately for us, our wonderful vacation was cut short due to Hurricane Helene. The owners kept in touch with us on our trek home, concerned about our safety. I would give this property 10 stars if I could!

50th Wedding Anniversary family vacation

The house was well cared for and well stocked. We have 5 grandchildren under the age of 9 and the proximity to the beach was great. The outside area including the pool was our favorite place to hang out. The deck off the main room was where we watched shooting stars at night. We loved our time at Water's Edge, but it went by too quickly. Our host, John, was wonderful. He kept in touch with us during our stay making sure everything was just right. We had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend this property.

Jersey Shore Hidden Gem

We booked late this year so I didn’t get my first or second choice of location (and boy am I glad we didn’t!). We ended up at Waters Edge because it had all the layout and amenities we needed but we had never stayed on the bay side before. My family could not stop raving about how perfect this place was. We spent a lot of time in the pool but we were 20 steps from the beach and went for frequent walks. You can also bring your kayak or paddleboard or fishing pole and do that all from the “back yard”. Coffee and ice cream were a 15 min walk. Wildwood or downtown cape may 20 min drive. The house was sufficiently equipped (everything promised was there and in good condition). Nightly sunsets and dolphin spotting a plus!

Beautiful family vacation

Wonderful family vacation

House exceeded our expectations. Very clean and well stocked. Super helpful to have linens, beach chairs, and pool towels all provided. Layout was ideal with each bedroom having its own bathroom and main living space offering incredible water views. Bay beach was even closer than appears in photos- literally steps away. Some restaurants, ice cream shops, grocery store and convenience stores very close by. Had several reservations for dinner but never wanted to leave the pool during the beautiful sunset so ended up mostly eating in and ordering several times from the seafood takeout down the street (which was excellent). John was always responsive to questions and easy to communicate with. Loved our stay and looking forward to returning!

Great home

The house was great! It had everything we needed. The pool was very nice and just steps from the beach. Seeing the sunsets from the balcony was amazing. The house is about a 20 minute drive from Cape May. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We have been using VRBO since 2020 and this was by far the best rental we have ever had!! Clean!

This property was pristine…clean, neat and organized. Cleanliness is the most important amenity for us and John and Lynn did not disappoint. We had everything…beach towels, beach chairs, bath towels, soap (dish and clothes detergent). Pool was GREAT and SAFE with an alarm. We had 4 kids under six and we never worried that a child could sneak into pool area without the alarm going off. The house was well stocked with paper products (toilet paper, soap, ziploc bags, and trash bags too). We were amazed at the service we received from the owners!!! Thank you for all you did for us and we hope to rent for the years to. come!! We never want to go anywhere else! Barb and David Guiffrida.

Great House for a Family

The house fit our family’s needs in every way possible. We couldn’t have asked for more. The owner was just a phone call or text away. He responded quickly when when contacted. The beach was never crowded and the waves were calm enough so our grandchildren felt comfortable enough to go in. The pool was also a hit. We paid the extra money to have the pool heated and we are so glad we did. It was worth the additional cost. I have to agree with Kurt’s review. The pictures were a little misleading and old. They made it it seem that the house was right on the beach. However, there is one house between you and the beach. You can still see the beach from all upper level decks but not a 180 degree view. But the beach was literally a few steps from our sidewalk. All the beds seem to be quite soft. So if you like that type of bed comfort you are in luck. For those of us who prefer or require a firm bed the bed were quite uncomfortable. But overall we give it a 5 star review.

Awesome House !!

This was our first time renting this home and we were very satisfied with the home and area. The host was great at communicating with me before, during and after the stay. The house was very clean and well stocked with necessities. My family was able to enjoy the heated pool! There is a fee but well worth it! The house has beautiful views of the beach and only steps to the sand!!! We are looking forward to renting it again.

Spring Getaway

The property was a perfect layout for our family of three couples and one toddler. It is difficult to find accommodations that include three bedrooms with king/queen beds and en suite bathrooms AND a room appropriate for kiddos. The well equipped kitchen and family area combined with the beautiful decks were icing on the cake. John reached out on our arrival day to ensure all was as expected. Additionally, he was very responsive to my inquiries prior to our arrival. As others have said, the sunsets were amazing. VPK

Wonderful getaway

We had such a great time staying at John’s property. House is just perfect for relaxation- perfect location, amazing views of sunset, roomy and clean. John was always available to answer any questions/concerns we had.
