Viehofen is nestled between the top destinations of Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Zell am See, making it an ideal starting point for nature and sports lovers. In winter, guests benefit from the proximity to the Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn and the Schmittenhöhe; ski bus, ski lifts and valley runs are within easy reach. In summer, hiking and biking trails start practically on the doorstep, while Lake Zell beckons with bathing opportunities, water sports and a lakeside promenade. Shopping facilities, restaurants and a small supermarket are located in the village and are easily accessible by car or on foot
