Guests enjoy the private use of both outdoor & indoor (spa) pools and the festoon-lit rooftop BBQ/dining area with a table for 10. The charming interior comes equipped with a full kitchen, dishwasher, A/C, 4K Smart TV, WiFi and an air-hockey table. The perfect base for a relaxing getaway, private and secluded, while still within easy reach of the bustling old town.
ABOUT THE SPACE Our Gozo escape is the perfect base for a tranquil weekend break or a relaxing family holiday with your loved ones. Spend your days enjoying the mature garden & terraces, soaking up the Mediterranean sun in the pool and dining al-fresco under the festoon lights in the long summer evenings. Situated in a peaceful street just minutes away from the picturesque town square and bustling restaurants & bars, you'll be in the heart of a favourite getaway spot for locals!
From the moment you step inside our lovingly restored 300-year-old villa, it welcomes you with charming character features, modern comforts throughout and a fully equipped kitchen giving that real "home away from home" feeling!
The 3-storey villa is perfectly sized and equipped to accommodate a group of friends or large family in complete comfort for any length of stay. There are four bedrooms with a total of 5 beds over 3-double bedrooms and 1-triple bedroom. You will find a full bathroom on every floor, the master bedroom also comes equipped with a private en-suite bathroom. Our space can comfortably sleep 9-adults and a baby cot/crib can be provided upon request. All bedrooms come equipped with dual air-conditioning (cool or heat), so you can be sure of a good nights sleep in any weather.
The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals including full oven & gas stove, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, pots & pans, dishes, coffee maker and all the essential cooking utensils. Guests can relax and dine in the former mill-room of the house next to the cosy open fireplace. The south-facing breakfast room is a beautiful way to start the day with a coffee as the Maltese sun floods through the floor-to-ceiling glass.
The living area is set among the original stone arches of the house and features a comfortable corner sofa, 50" 4K Smart TV (with Netflix/Youtube/Chromecast/IPTV), lounge BeanBag, Bluetooth speaker and a games area with air-hockey table. Fast WiFi (400mbps) is available in all areas of the house and terrace. You may also connect laptops or other devices to the TV via HDMI cable. A washing machine and clothes drying lines are also available.
The villa also features an indoor heated spa-pool which has powerful jacuzzi jets and floor-to-ceiling south-facing windows. The spa-pool can be used all-year-round and LED mood lighting creates the perfect atmosphere if guests wish to enjoy a mid-night splash.
In the outdoor areas, guests will have private use of all the following features and equipment:

GUEST ACCESS You will have completely private use of this 4-bedroom villa and all of its outdoor areas/facilities. You will NOT share any parts of the house, pools or outdoor spaces with anyone outside your group. The property is accessed from a private entrance in a quiet street.

LOCATION Our villa is situated on a quiet street in Victoria, the capital "city" of Gozo, steeped in history and set among traditional houses and real locals. It's just a 6-minute walk to the bustling independence square where you can find numerous cafes, restaurants & bars teeming with energy and life. The picture-perfect pedestrian streets of the old town and the famous Cittadella/Citadel can easily be reached on foot. All the essential amenities such as supermarkets, a pharmacy, ATM and public transport can also be found within walking distance. The renowned beach and cliffs of Xlendi bay can be reached with a short 5-minute drive or by taking the frequent direct buses from the nearby bus stop. Enjoy a unique mix of sunny Mediterranean tranquillity and bustling town life.
Public transport in Gozo is an economical and efficient way of getting around, almost all areas of the island are accessible by bus. The nearest bus stop from the house is called "Victoria Bay/Terminal", this is the central bus station of the island and is served by all the bus lines you might need. You can also catch the big red "Hop On - Hop Off" buses from the dedicated stop in Victoria which is a 10-minute walk from the villa.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE There is no private parking garage at the property however you can usually find free parking on the street outside. There is also a large free public car park just 2 minutes walk from the house which can be used when no street parking is available.
IMPORTANT: TOURIST ECO-TAX UPDATE (JULY 2026)
Please note that the Government of Malta has increased the mandatory Environmental Contribution (Eco-Tourist Tax) for all stays starting on or after July 1, 2026.
New Rate: €1.50 per adult (18+) per night New Cap: Maximum €22.50 per adult per stay
For bookings made prior to July 1, 2026, for stays occurring on or after this date, the system may not automatically apply the updated government rate at the time of booking. In such cases, any difference between the previous rate (€0.50) and the new legal rate (€1.50) must be settled separately before or upon arrival.
By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge that the applicable tax is determined by the rate in effect during your stay, regardless of the booking date.

The home is beautiful and looked amazing in the photos online, but in reality the property was tried and in need of some serious maintenance/and or deep clean. The response time on communication was really quick, however pretty poor on communicating the ‘hidden costs’.The distance from the accommodation into town was a little further than we’d liked, especially if you had older guests or young children walking in the heat.
