  • Escape for the weekend to this serene, beautifully appointed 3-bedroom, 2-bath retreat just seconds from the shores of Sandusky Bay. Direct fishing access is available through the local bar at the end of the street for a small fee ($5). The property can accommodate up to 4 trucks with fishing boats. Thoughtfully designed and fully furnished, this spacious home comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests—perfect for family getaways, friend reunions, or a relaxing retreat.

    Unwind under the stars in the new 6-person hot tub, gather around the outdoor fire ring, or cozy up by one of two fireplaces—a gas fireplace in the sun-drenched sunroom and a classic wood-burning fireplace in the living room. (Firewood is provided free of charge for your convenience.) For entertainment, enjoy an Xbox with a collection of games, making downtime just as fun as your adventures out and about.

    Location is everything, and this home delivers. You’re within 15 minutes of Cedar Point, Cedar Point Sports Force Park, and the Port Clinton ferries to Kelleys Island, Put-in-Bay, and Middle Bass Island. A local tavern sits just a block away, and a nearby market is only five miles down the road—close enough for convenience, far enough for peace and quiet.

Property was well described, very clean and well appointed. Super convenient location to area attractions and good food. Preston was great and quick to respond to any communication. If I’m in the area again I’m staying here!

They responded quickly to any questions and provided everything we needed and more. The host was very informative, understanding, and made the entire stay easy and enjoyable. The property was spacious, well-maintained, and offered great amenities, including a relaxing hot tub. The neighborhood was friendly. On top of all that, the price was excellent for what was offered.

The Rainbow House is in an excellent location for exploring the shores and all that this area has to offer!We enjoyed this as our "home base" for our trip to Cedar Point. The house had everything we needed and served as a great spot to catch up, wind down, and enjoy our friends trip. The host was quick to respond and offered excellent communication, in general! There is a small bar about a 2-minute walk from the back door that has excellent sunset views right on the water.

The place was very nice and close to all the fun places in Sandusky. We enjoyed the hot tub and the host was great with communication. Theres also a bar / restaurant within walking distance from the place. We had a great time here! Thanks for having us!

This is our second stay and we absolutely love ths property! The home is spacious, clean, comfy. The neighborhood is very charming, with both beachy and rural vibes. We can't wait to come back next year!

Had a wonderful stay. We had our Xmas trip with our adult children. We loved everything about this home. Loved that there was a Xmas tree up. Preston was absolutely amazing with any concerns we had. Loved that he had snacks ready on the table. Definitely would recommend and stay again.

House was great, good location about 20 mins from everything we wanted to do, house was stocked exeptional well. Would definitely stay again. One bedroom was kind of small but hey we were just sleeping there so it served its purpose.

Thanksgiving stay

Was wonderful host was super accommodating and willing to do more then any other host i ever had. Had really nice appliances and furniture. Was a wonderful stay. Will stay again
